The first time I upload a trip report like this one, with 2 flights in one video. Due to the poor condition of the windows on the first flight, iIthought that I couldn't upload a video just with that flight, so I've decided to make this experiment.

Excelente video 👍........a mí personalmente si o si tengo que hacer escalas si quiero ver sitios de Europa que no salen x ningún aeropuerto de Tenerife Sur,norte , aunque ya está la cosa más animadita ,ya qu veo vuelos directos a Finlandia y Moscú 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏....lo bueno que tiene la península es qu te puedes mover x todos lados , saludos cordiales

En este caso, el tiempo de conexión no era suficiente para visitar Bruselas. En este caso, el viaje no era para grabar vídeos para el canal, sino porque realmente tenía que hacerlo, sino no suelo elegir Brussels Airlines jeje No es una aerolínea que funcione muy bien en el canal... =/

Me pareció un poco extraño que el 777 de Austrian hiciera un vuelo tan corto para las dimensiones del mismo, bueno esas cosas supongo que pasan de vez en cuando cuando hay vuelos de conexión, y es interesante que hicieras el vuelo a Madrid con conexión en Bruselas, eso le da un plus a tus trip reports y espero que dentro de tus planes, esté la visita a países escandinavos como Estocolmo, Oslo o Helsinki bien al norte de europa, muy buen vuelo y saludos desde Venezuela!
Fuera de la temporada alt de verano usan bastante el B777 y B767 en la ruta a Frankfurt. Hace unos años los usaban para darles training a futuros pilotos de B777 de Swiss. Pero ahora la verdad no se qué finalidad tiene. Quizás demanda de carga, pasajeros, algo de training...

Estupendo vuelos, yo también despegué en bruselas desde la 25R y como eran las 22h fué un despegue nocturno pero muy bonito porque estaba toda la ciudad despejada y no había ninguna nube entonces teníamos unas vistas muy buenas.

La verdad es que Brussels Airlines no termina de funcionar en el canal. Una pena, pues la aerolínea no es mala en absoluto... =(

Sadly, Brussels Airlines is an airline that doesn't work really well on the channel. It's sad because I usually enjoy flying with them... but as you can see, again, this video has a lot less views than any other. =(

Wow, surprised to see Austrian operating a bigger aircraft to Frankfurt than US from Vienna
They use them on this route (together with B767) for the cargo and pax demand, but also for training purposes.

I think we could probably collaborate on a more interesting way than that. At the end of day, I have my own style for recording and then editing. Unless, of course, it's some kind of heavy flight hehe ??
Actually, I'm planning my first trips in A380 and B747, to have exterior videos of the landing or takeoff in LHR could be really nice.

Es increíble la cantidad de conexiones (y razonables) que ofrece Brussels con Europa, al menos desde Madrid. Siempre se agradecen opciones así.
Pues sí, la verdad es que las opciones son muchas y casi siempre buen precio. Sin embargo, por alguna razón... Brussels Airlines no funciona bien en el canal. Y este vídeo es una nueva prueba de ello. Parece que a la gente no le llama ver un vídeo de esta aerolínea =(

En (BRU) los vuelos de Iberia salen de la misma terminal que los de Brussels Airlines destino europa?
Tengo una conexión un poco rara (por precio y porque me gusta volar)

Sí, salen del mismo edificio (concretamente del que ves en este vídeo). Es muy largo pero completamente abierto, asi que es muy facil de encontrar las puertas de embarque.
Salvando el diseño, la terminal de Bruselas es muy parecida a la T4 de Madrid.

Lots of legroom - more than Economy on some long distance flights! The "lunches" didn't seem too outrageously priced.
Yep, I agree with you on that. The legroom is one of the best things of the Lufthansa Group in the intra-European flights.

Never been to Belgium, or Vienna, but would love to go. I have been to Madrid though, and Budapest.
Actually, I'm right now going to Vienna airport to fly back to Madrid. But this time with Lufthansa, via Frankfurt.

Me ha hecho ilusión ver el embalse de Yesa, vivo cerquita y ahora que está en niveles bajos, quedan al descubierto unas termas naturales y acude muchísima gente a darse baños de barro y relajarse en las termas. Si hubiera sabido que pasabas por ahí, te habría guardado sitio para aparcar el avión e invitarte a un baño y una cerveza de las buenas. Que pena que no venías en un Harrier Jump Jet.

La verdad es que pasé por ahí 2 o 3 veces con el coche, hace ya muchos años, cuando íbamos de vacaciones tipo turismo rural a la zona de Jaca en verano. Recuerdo que la carretera iba alrededor del embalse un buen rato. jaja

What is this sound 4:35 please?
Power transfer unit (PTU).
It transfers hydraulic pressure from one system to another one, for example, when 1 engine is on and the other off.
As each hydraulic system powers different systems, when one engine is off, the PTU transfers power from the energized system to the other.
10:01 - notice the United 777 sitting opposite. It wasn't on one of the planespotting list, and the writing was too small for me to read the departure board at 11:08. I know it was obviously about to enroute to, and has recently arrived from America. Which US city, I can only guess either New York, Chicago, Houston, or Atlanta. Actually, probably not Atlanta since their hub is Delta, so it's one of the other 3 cities.

@@OnBoardHD, oh, that's fine. I'm sure that there wasn't enough time to see where every plane was going. It's likely the United 777 was flying to New York because I'm quite sure that United flies New York - Europe. I'll also guess Houston, just because I flew on a United 777 exactly like that one from Houston to London several years ago. As you can see, like you, I also quite interesting in flying, airplanes, airliners, etc.
Menuda sorpresa dos vídeos en uno, del primero sin duda alguna lo que más me ha gustado son las vistas sobre Viena son impresionantes y del segundo las vistas sobre los Pirineos son bonitas aunque me gustan más cuando están nevados. Sobre los aviones el primero no puedo entender como pueden estar tan rayados los cristales de las ventanas y más el que te toco y del segundo el interior no me gusto nada y hay una cosa que me intriga y quiero preguntarte que son esos pinchos que salen de las alas aunque me imagino que serán sensores del avión o eso creo. Un abrazo
Jaja La verdad es que tenía ganas de hacerlo, aunque siendo totalmente sincero, lo hice porque la calidad del primer vuelo, con el estado de las ventanillas, no me pareció adecuado para ser un único vídeo.
Sin embargo, esta experiencia me ha hecho pensar que, a partir de ahora, los vídeo que no fuesen muy interesantes por separado, si son vuelos de conexión, irán incluidos en su vuelo de conexión.
Por ejemplo, mañana hago un Viena-Frankfurt-Madrid con Austrian y Lufthansa. Ambos irán en un único vídeo, de nuevo. :)

@@gerardorchardg eso se usa de pararayos, es decir, cuando un rayo impacta con el avion eso se limita a echar la descarga del avion para que no haya problemas!

Wonderful double flight report Lucas.These A319s are rockets.I have flown with Alitalia's and Volotea's jets.They are fast and spacious.I didn't know that Austrian had a flight from Vienna to Frankfurt with a 777.That was a surprise.Too bad you didn't fly with one of Brussels special liveries.Maybe next time.Have a great time my friend

No se porque me gusta tanto el Aeropuerto de Viena, ya he estado ahí unas 3 o 4 veces, no recuerdo bien y siempre he despegado por la 29. Me encantó como siempre este trip report, genial la info de los Austrian saliendo para USA, aún usando los antiguos B763. Que bueno que hiciste un trip con una escala, me pareció entretenido para poder apreciar el aeropuerto de Bruselas que por cierto es muy bonito, me gustó ver el nombre Brussels Airport en las ventanas del terminal cuando hacías el rodaje a pista para despegue. Me fijé que al llegar a Barajas a puerta de desembarque aún estaba con algo de flaps quizá?, al menos se vieron los slats desplegados. Me gustan mucho esos cruces de los techos de nubes, cuando éstos estan bien compactos. Felicitaciones excelente trip!!. Saludos desde algún lugar del planeta !!!

Perdona la respuesta tan tardía!
Los Airbus de diseño "no reciente" tienen un problemilla con un sensor de temperatura en el ala cuando están estacionarios en tierra.
Por eso, para que no salte una indicacion erronea cuando estan en tierra, dejan los flaps y slats semi-extendidos cuando la temperatura exterior es de 30°C o más.

What causes the weird barkingnoise during taxiing on an Airbus? I never heard it on any other brand of aircraft.
It's the PTU (Power Transfer Unit) which transfers hydraulic power from one system to another.

No sir. There is nowhere written about how a "Trip Report" should be.
I'm not going to evaluate the airline.
What I do is to show all the flight on the most honest way possible, so is the viewer the one that can makevan opinion about it.
OnBoardHD - Flight Experience to do a report as your title says you should be telling us what you think about it so that we know your thoughts about the airlines you use, ive watched other trip reports about airlines where the person doing the report do actually tell us what they think, there is no such thing as a silent report, the news we get on our TVs what do you think that is, thats a report and you don’t see them silent, we’re no longer in the silent movie era
