As an Italian citizen 🇮🇹 I tell you that seeing Alitalia reduced like this is really painful. It is no longer the Alitalia it once was and I hope the new Alitalia ITA will be better... beautiful video anyway. 😍
I hadn't seen this video. In the past, Alitalia was one of the most recognized airlines in Europe. In the 80's and 90's their planes flew all over the world. I had the opportunity to fly several times on their planes, on the Caracas-Rome route, especially on B747. It's a pity that today it no longer exists. This post brought me back very good memories. Thank you very much mate.
@@OnBoardHD I never thought that Alitalia will cease to exist. As an Italian resident abroad, I always flew to Rome with that line. It makes me sad that it no longer exists😞
Too bad it was cloudy. This flight was directly over Corsica. That would have been interesting to watch from the air. But neverteless, a nice video again!

Wow now that’s a smooth landing, we flew to Australia in 1995 with Alitalia and the name was on the wings back then lol, it was an experience flying long haul with them that’s for sure lol, great video.👍👍
According to Google, the black triangles are used to mark the windows that the cabin crew must use to have the best view outside the aircraft in case of a problem to the wings or the engines
And it's correct, but daily use of them is to check for icing. As it says on the video, the triangles show the the best position to check the leading and trailing edges of the wing.
Good trip report. I've only seen this video now, but I flew last summer to Crete with Lufthansa. I knew one time what these triangles mean. It’s good that you have written it in the video. And yes I like it when airlines make their logo on the wings.

Actually. I think it had more effect than we think. The average passenger doesn't care about the airline they fly. Probably, the same week of the flight, they won't remember the airline they've flown. However, if they've seen the logo on the wing during all the flight, they might remember it and, if they had a good experience, they might consider paying a little more in the next flight for flying again with that airline.

I believe that many Alitalia planes are leased from an Irish leasing company, hence the registration. And as for the babies, please remember we were all screaming brats sometime. Parents should be told to give the baby a bottle, or breast feed it during takeoff and landing. Swallowing helps keep their ears clear and reduces the impact that we all feel in climb and descent.

Great trip report! Big LIKE from me. So still no inflight service in order to reduce interaction with the crew and keep the masks on? However, you can ask the crew for water.
Thanks a lot, Dim! Glad that you've enjoyed it so much! :)) Affirmative, no service at all... Actually, next week I'm uploading a video in which I will fly one flight on a low-cost and the connecting flight on a "legacy airline". I use that trip to make a critic about the service on the legacies... let's see what is people's opinion about it :)
These triangle signs indicates where the wings can best be observed. So these black triangle signs are for visual inspection. Crew can make best observation and control of wings, engines, flight controls from here. Thus any faults or problems are quikly perceived.
Vaya!!!!!
@@OnBoardHD He estado buscando fotos y si,las he encontrado.
Where you can buy TUI FLY Spain domestic flights?? On TUI FLY westbise there aren't any tickets on Spain domestic routes. On Skyscanner so there isn't tickets on Spain domestic flights. HELP! I am asking because this vacation is planning to go to Spain for a short private tour.
You can't book Spanish domestic flights with TUI because they don't operate any. If you want cheap direct flights inside Spain, Ryanair, Vueling and Volotea are your best options.

Thank you for a great review. Alitalia does appear to have continuing financIal problems, and the interior of the plane could hardly be called pristine ! I dislike the airline name on the wings also, and guess in this case, that most passengers would prefer not to be reminded of the airline they are flying with !

Great trip report! Big LIKE from me. So still no inflight service in order to reduce interaction with the crew and keep the masks on? However, you can ask the crew for water.
Thanks a lot, Dim! Glad that you've enjoyed it so much! :))
Affirmative, no service at all...
Actually, next week I'm uploading a video in which I will fly one flight on a low-cost and the connecting flight on a "legacy airline". I use that trip to make a critic about the service on the legacies... let's see what is people's opinion about it :)
I think the days are numbered for Italy's Flagcarrier, each LCC is much better than AZ!
I agree with you... but Alitalia is really an airline that I don't want to see dissapearing... =/
😎✈✈
Thank for you visit italy
It's always a pleasure :))
Asombroso
Me alegra que te haya gustado tanto! :)
Saludos
it's nice to see more and more passinger in aeropalne each trip ,plz tell us each trip the number of passinger ,no logo like alitalia in the wing
It's nice to see that the number of pax is increasing.
I don't know the number.
These triangle signs indicates where the wings can best be observed. So these black triangle signs are for visual inspection. Crew can make best observation and control of wings, engines, flight controls from here.
Thus any faults or problems are quikly perceived.
True, that's the purpose. To show the windows from where the leading and trailing edges of the wings should be looked from.
6:20 yesss im going from amsterdam to pisa with the transavia 737-800 and back ofcourse
Enjoy the trip! :)
I haven't flown this airline since 95 after I left from my home and came back to America to live I miss it so
Not possible anymore. Now it's ITA :)
@@OnBoardHD I heard about it we was thinking about this airline bf the pandemic hit I said oh well there goes that dream
Saludos!
What a flaps jitter on time mark 15"20'?
It's normal that they have vibrations. If they wouldn't be allowed to have them, they would end breaking.

@@OnBoardHD Ok thanks. Volotea is my favorite airline.
Enjoy 😎✈
After 9 days, our Saudi government will allow travel outside the country for the first time since the pandemic, the first country I will visit Switzerland 😍..i miss Europe 🥵❤️
Cool! Hopefully soon every travel restrictions will be eased :))
"Leonardo da Vinci" Rome Fiumicino Airport. The best airport in Europe !
Well... I wouldn't call it that way hehe I like it, but it's far from being the best in my opinion.
Anyway, glad that you've enjoyed the video :)
@@OnBoardHD FCO Airport is considered by Airports Council International (ACI) as the best airport in Europe in the last three years. I think you'd be more informed if you want to continue to write ... Sorry and bye bye !
Why does it sound like Bugs Bunny is cutting the wooden floor under Elmer Fudd's feet when the walkway is being connected to the aircraft?🤣
Haha It's the PTU (Power Transfer Unit) which transfers hydraulic power from one system to another one.
El primer giro fue de 90°?
Aproximadamente.
Very good video but i was more worried about your phone again
Thanks a lot! Glad that you've enjoyed it! :))

No refreshments?
haha Of course not.
@@OnBoardHD awful customer experience as usual... Rundown airplane and bad service. Not a great way to get out of financial impasse!
Thank you for a great review. Alitalia does appear to have continuing financIal problems, and the interior of the plane could hardly be called pristine ! I dislike the airline name on the wings also, and guess in this case, that most passengers would prefer not to be reminded of the airline they are flying with !
Thanks a lot, Anthony! :)
I hope the new Alitalia that is about to start will be better than this one...
Wish you a nice weekend!
It is a terrible airline
like 384 from Santos - São Paulo - Brasil
Thanks Segio! :))
