I used to travel a lot on Virgin during the 90's from EWR to London on their -400's. They were great then and looks like they are still great. The catering service looks really good with two meal service for under 7 hour flight. Cabin on the NEO's look awesome. Surely will try them again. Very engrossing video. Great job! Oh! Lucky you! I would love to have travelled on the Virgin B744/A346 before they retired them... It had to be an amazing experience... Luckily, Lufthansa is still operating them, so that's why we have so much Lufthansa on the channel haha The A346 is already confirmed, together with the B748. Also, as a bilingual English/Spanish speaker, since I was able to talk as a baby, it's nice you translate and it's very accurate and even acceptable to a die-hard Castillian speaker like myself. 😊 Thank you again! Very professional, very well produced and directed, and love that you don't use idiotic clickbait stills or writing to attract people to your videos! 👍

If I put some title that could be clickbait some how I try to use it on the "good" way, which is by exagerating something that is real on the video, and never by just inventing something which is directly not true. Wow!!! That is the first time I've ever seen that type of "Jet Bridge!" Dang! It's like for Human Hamsters 🐹 or something!! 😂😂 So elaborate with all those twists and turns! I love it! Especially being able to see the engine with the fan blades twirling lazily about! NICE!!! 👍
haha true! Those stairs are not common in Europe for example. But they are a comfortable way to get on the plane, particularly for older people. Also, when it's rainy, it allows many people to be inside boarding without getting wet. :)

Looked a really good flight the cabin looked fresh and clean, food presentation could be a tad better though. Must congratulate the flight deck crew for an exceptional smooth landing. You mentioned the 747 and 340-600, before Covid I flew on one of VA 346 from Washington DC to LHR was a late evening flight and there were under 70 passengers on board, entering the aircraft from the front and walking the entire length to get to our seat at the rear you realise just how long the 346 was.

Well, on this route looks like yes... on routes to/from the US west coast BA gives 2 full meals, while Virgin gives basically the same as on this flight (not experienced it, I saw it on other reports on RUclips). That being said, I loved the experinece on this flight with Virgin Atlantic.

Great trip report Lucas,thanks for posting. The food portion for main meal looked small to me! Also didn't like the plastic cutlery with it! Virgin are still better than BA in my opinion. 😊
Buen video como siempre panita, espero algún día poder ver un video en donde tomes un vuelo con la aerolínea Eva air, me gustan mucho la pintura que tienen en sus 777 y más las liveries antiguas como por ejemplo la B-16723 o la nueva livery de hello kitty y Sanrio B-16722 que justamente lo terminaron de pintar hoy.
@@OnBoardHD claro.. supongo que sabrá que esa aerolínea es de origen taiwanés, tiene vuelos hacia San Francisco, chicago, Nueva York, Houston, Los Ángeles, y Seattle. También ha Canadá, Toronto y a Europa solo van a Londres, parís Ámsterdam, Múnich y Vienna y creo que se me olvidará uno más.. pero si, es una gran aerolínea y esta catalogada como las mejores del continente asiático.

Yeah, but I'm not sure if they would have anything on this flight... I mean, if I would go there and ask for something, for sure they would give me something... but there was jusst 3 hours between services... I don't thing they would have anything prepared there like on your much longer flight from LAX! :)
Honestly, the best aircraft choice for Economy has got to be the A330, especially if you are by yourself or travelling as a couple…just two seats on the sides of the aircraft is an absolute winner and there’s no ‘third wheel’ sharing the row with you!
Though I have never flown virgin The flight looked really good And yes ALL passengers should stay seated till the plane is docked annoys me when people get up n think they can be 1st off😖😖😖😖

what a quiet takeoff considering it's a full flight! I think I would prefer the A330neo over the 787... hopefully I get to try it someday. I've only been on the 787...
All my flights with Virgin were terrific the crew being the star of the show. The A330Neo has many improvements over the A350Ceo, as you say the RR Trent 7000 engines being the biggest upgrade with the winglets, but also the aspect-ration on the wing was changed for the better, space-saving interiors & lighting all updated to compete better with the B787 which with some weight-saving it really does & it`s given this excellent aircraft a new lease of life.
I would definitely where possible fly Virgin Atlantic over BA, the whole experience is just so much better and feels really luxurious - even in economy. I’ve flown Virgin twice from LHR to LA on their Boeing 787, probably all of which were my best flight experiences.
In economy class yes for a route like these one. On a route to LA or SFO I would pick BA as they offer 2 full meals instead of 1 meal + 1snack like BA.
The problem of that riute is the really high price of the ticket. I can't afford that price for just 1 video at the moment... we'll see... it is definitely on the wish list! ✈️
The thing is that for flights to the US west coast, the service in economy is basically the same for what I've seen in reports in other channels... so they are great on flights to/from JFK, but for longer flights we could have a different opinion... i don't know... The plane itself and the cabin are great. That's independent of the route flown :))
27:40 Having checked in passengers for VS ( Virgin Atlantic ) from Johannesburg, South Africa to London Heathrow, I can say that Virgin Atlantic has one of the best cabin crew I have seen, just love their uniform, and everyone who works for them, is very friendly, one can see they love their passengers, and I hope that I may check in for them in the future.
I think the whole thing onboard is incredibly well taylored: the cabin crew uniforms, the cabin colors, the cabin lights, the huge screens, the music the put during boarding (not on this video due to copyright issues)... all together make what I think is one of the best cabins I've seen so far. :)
seat 56k on the 330 neo is an economy delight seat. The config for economy on the 330 neo is: economy (all of front section row 45 to row 51), economy delight (rows of two seats from row 54 to row 60) with the rest of the cabin being normal economy.

You mentioned the 747 and 340-600, before Covid I flew on one of VA 346 from Washington DC to LHR was a late evening flight and there were under 70 passengers on board, entering the aircraft from the front and walking the entire length to get to our seat at the rear you realise just how long the 346 was.
wow! that must have been an incredible flight... to have an A346 for just 70 pax must have been on of the best flights ever! :))
It was ..but that was some years ago, personally i think VA standards have slipped since Delta involvement, prefer BA now trans Atlantic routes

Well, on this route looks like yes... on routes to/from the US west coast BA gives 2 full meals, while Virgin gives basically the same as on this flight (not experienced it, I saw it on other reports on RUclips).
That being said, I loved the experinece on this flight with Virgin Atlantic.

@@OnBoardHD claro.. supongo que sabrá que esa aerolínea es de origen taiwanés, tiene vuelos hacia San Francisco, chicago, Nueva York, Houston, Los Ángeles, y Seattle. También ha Canadá, Toronto y a Europa solo van a Londres, parís Ámsterdam, Múnich y Vienna y creo que se me olvidará uno más.. pero si, es una gran aerolínea y esta catalogada como las mejores del continente asiático.

You missed visiting the galley! They usually have high quality snacks! Flew them in June LAX to LHR: got exact same meals like yours.
Yeah, but I'm not sure if they would have anything on this flight... I mean, if I would go there and ask for something, for sure they would give me something... but there was jusst 3 hours between services... I don't thing they would have anything prepared there like on your much longer flight from LAX! :)

Honestly, the best aircraft choice for Economy has got to be the A330, especially if you are by yourself or travelling as a couple…just two seats on the sides of the aircraft is an absolute winner and there’s no ‘third wheel’ sharing the row with you!

Flying Virgin is always nice. I did find calling the breakfast sandwich Chef Crafted Quality funny

I love boarding by bus exactly because of these different views of the plane from the ground.
what a quiet takeoff considering it's a full flight! I think I would prefer the A330neo over the 787... hopefully I get to try it someday. I've only been on the 787...
I definitely prefer the A330neo for the normal windows. But yeah, the A330neo looks line an amazing plane. 👌
All my flights with Virgin were terrific the crew being the star of the show. The A330Neo has many improvements over the A350Ceo, as you say the RR Trent 7000 engines being the biggest upgrade with the winglets, but also the aspect-ration on the wing was changed for the better, space-saving interiors & lighting all updated to compete better with the B787 which with some weight-saving it really does & it`s given this excellent aircraft a new lease of life.
I really enjoyed this flight with Virgin Atlantic.
In the next months we'll be trying the upper class also on the A330Neo. It has to be amazing! :)

I would definitely where possible fly Virgin Atlantic over BA, the whole experience is just so much better and feels really luxurious - even in economy. I’ve flown Virgin twice from LHR to LA on their Boeing 787, probably all of which were my best flight experiences.
In economy class yes for a route like these one. On a route to LA or SFO I would pick BA as they offer 2 full meals instead of 1 meal + 1snack like BA.

The thing is that for flights to the US west coast, the service in economy is basically the same for what I've seen in reports in other channels... so they are great on flights to/from JFK, but for longer flights we could have a different opinion... i don't know...
The plane itself and the cabin are great. That's independent of the route flown :))

27:40 Having checked in passengers for VS ( Virgin Atlantic ) from Johannesburg, South Africa to London Heathrow, I can say that Virgin Atlantic has one of the best cabin crew I have seen, just love their uniform, and everyone who works for them, is very friendly, one can see they love their passengers, and I hope that I may check in for them in the future.
I think the whole thing onboard is incredibly well taylored: the cabin crew uniforms, the cabin colors, the cabin lights, the huge screens, the music the put during boarding (not on this video due to copyright issues)... all together make what I think is one of the best cabins I've seen so far. :)
seat 56k on the 330 neo is an economy delight seat. The config for economy on the 330 neo is: economy (all of front section row 45 to row 51), economy delight (rows of two seats from row 54 to row 60) with the rest of the cabin being normal economy.
