A compilation of unseen footage from mid October 2020.
Edited and additional footage filmed on 12th December 2020.
This video may help others understand what it is like to live with high functioning autism and Aspergers.
The last 2 mins refer to Tom Allen whom we both went to the same school and I've mentioned his book #noshame I'm keen to make a full review video on his excellent book which I'm nearing completion of reading the book.
There is also a chance to see and learn some Celtic Ogham names and symbols in this video. These are old Druidry Healing symbols. I'm a Bardic grade Druid and I'm so grateful to the work of Sarah Louise Tylsley whom taught me Celtic Reiki.

Hello Tim, thank you. I knew I wanted to post a compilation of unseen footage from mid October but wasn't sure how to present it in terms of title and theme. Whilst I'm keen not to dwell or fester in the whole aspergers label, I am keen to express that aspergers is a concept and that it does need awareness in the hope of gaining understanding by society. By the way I watched your livestream on the big screen in the front room hence I didn't get on the comments to say hello. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing your experiences, the Hawthorne, the chained Oak, and the story of the narrow driveway from the back to the front of the gold car park, and how it was a useful analogy of understanding a greater awareness of how we work through viewpoints and can make great positive change and direction. Hi Tom, thank your for your videos, and particularly for raising awareness of Aspergers/Autism. I found your channel just before I was diagnosed in adulthood. I am still at the beginning of my journey, but your videos calm and ground me, especially on my low functioning days. Keep doing what you are doing, it really helps others 😊
Hello Lottie, thanks for your kind words and I'm so grateful. I'm glad you've found some help from the videos and this one in particular. Aspergers (being sensitive) is a gift. Gentleness is Strength. I've found barefoot grounding in the garden is really helping more and more to help calm the body and settle from overwhelm and over stimulation. You may find some of my healing videos helpful too. Try searching "Sarah Louise Tilsley" and "Chance" they have gentle videos too and are nice people. Have a peaceful day.

Hello Tom, I could really feel the calm and peace of the early morning stillness at the beginning of the video which was rather beautiful. Even with the noisy parakeet! Thank you for sharing a little about what it's like to live with Asperger's/Autism. It's not something that I know a lot about but my niece was or is in the process I believe of getting a diagnosis. She knows I'm always there for her to chat to but she doesn't talk about it directly although I know she was having some issues with work which she was finding challenging. Ahh, yes those oppressive skies. It rained all weekend here with dark clouds which looked rather ominous. It's much brighter today though which I am thankful for. I hope it is there too in suburbia. Hello Vanessa, thanks yes it was a lovely still and peaceful moment which I'm glad to have filmed and presented at the start of the video. I'm glad you felt it too. I hope your niece gets some comfort and understanding in her thoughts and feelings from the diagnosis. If you would like any insight from my experiences please just ask. Yes it's been a lovely blue sky day here today too. I've been out in the garden and the Robin came nearby and very cheerful. I did some gardening weeding the borders as the daffodils are appearing more in their growth. Afterwards I felt a calling to rest into the "open arms of the Apple tree". The lovely Quert gave comfort and warmth. I hope you are having a good day and keeping well Vanessa. Take care.
@@softtalkasmr6873 Thanks Tom. Another lovely blue sky day again here. I was amazed and happy to see some pretty white roses still in bloom on my walk today and also a lovely winter cherry tree in blossom. That's great to hear that the daffodils are showing signs of growth and that the robin was there in the garden making his/her cheerful presence known. If only more people realised just how wonderfully healing it is to hug a tree. Ah well...I hope you're having a good day Tom, many blessings ❤️🙏
@@vanessaelle3344 Thanks Vanessa that's pleasing to hear there's still signs of comforting colour well into December. Glad you have experienced a good walk and some fresh air, it's been a blue sky day here too. I've purchased a pair of THL blue light blocking glasses (although they look orange tinted- I call them golden glow glasses haha), they enhance the warmth of the outside, they offer a joyful sensation to me. However the aim of them is to be used on screen time to reduce the strained tired eyes issue. I highly recommend them Vanessa. Have a lovely evening.
@@softtalkasmr6873 I rather like the thought and sound of some golden glow glasses. Alliteration aside, they sound like a good investment if they are bringing you joy and helping with eye strain too. Have a restful night ❤️🙏
@@vanessaelle3344 Hello Vanessa yes an excellent investment. If you or perhaps your niece gets a pair, the THL type is the one I've got, they are just under £30 from Amazon. By the way someone has disliked this video, so it displays there is still some way to go for humanity to be more accepting and kind to one another. Have a peaceful day.
