The office memorabilia and compass belonged to the last survivor - he died 1 year prior to this vid being released, he was 19 when HMS Dorchester picked him up. The fishing boat skipper is his son.

HMS Dorsetshire - the same ship which fired the last torpedoes into Bismarck. Picked up other survivors but a U-boat was in the area - and that same U-boat later picked up some more survivors along with a German trawler.

The German naval survivor his Captain scribed his initials in his pocket watch and gave it to this young sailor, he survived the sinking and was rescue by the English sailors. Fun fact, he actually saw this video of Saboton song and was amazed at the accuracy of the video and the depiction of not only the ship but the battle. He died of old age a short time afterward. Saboton is not political their mantra is, “Lest we shall never forget”. No Bullets Fly, animated video I would suggest you do next. Stay Safe Rock On!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

    • @huey-fan8335
      @huey-fan8335 3 года назад +4

Well, wrong....there were only the official coordinates inscripted into the watch, nothing else (I say official coordinates, because the wreck lies somewhere different, near the official coordinates which where 48° 10′ 0″ N, 16° 12′ 0″ W, the actual ones are different but I have them as well) ! The last survivor of Bismarck died in 2018, so he never saw this Video! But I think the man in possession of the watch could be actually the son of Bernhard Heuer!

You guys should react to "Sabaton - Fields of Verdun" (Official Music Video) and "Sabaton - Midway (Music video)" created by Knight SGC Archive (there is no Official Music Video for this one).
    - "Fields of Verdun" is about the "Battle of Verdun" in WW1 that lasted 303 days and was the longest active battle in history with over 700,000 casualties.
(subtitles work for this video and I recommend them)
    - "Midway" is about the "Battle of Midway" in WW2 in which the Japanese planned a surprise attack to capture the island of Midway and the Americans learned of the plans and set up an ambush on the Japanese Fleet from the direction they didn't suspect them.
(subtitles work for this video and I recommend them)

They're a bit less fancy, but you should see the story videos for Night Witches and No Bullets Fly. Make sure to go all the way to the end of the videos. Another favorite of mine is Attack Of The Dead Men, but the best one is a lyric video (which has the core of the song's story embedded in it, and is still absolutely worth a watch.) I love that they are immortalizing the stories that should be remembered. Sabaton doesn't match Nightwish's finesse, but as far as kindling a fire in your heart...heck yeah.

The guys froze making the video. Joakim must've been thumping his leg to keep the blood flowing! "War knows no nation. This video is dedicated to those who fought to the bitter end in The Battle of the Atlantic"....My father's ship chased Graf Scheer - lucky for him and me, they didn't catch it (that time!). The Swordfish torpedo aircraft shown in the video outlived it's intended successor. It was also one of the "luckiest" aircraft for their crews - very few were shot down in aerial combat because they flew so slowly! Most of those lost were destroyed in the hangar. Prinz Eugen was a heavy cruiser which sailed with Bismarck against HMS Hood but escaped the RN and got back to France. After the war, as USS Prinz Eugen, it took months of neglect, TWO NUKES and further months of neglect to sink her. The Germans made tough ships!

It has been removed in our more recent videos, it was only there to try and transform the original content so we could get the video past copyright issues, thanks for watching

Really, was that all you had to comment?
We gave a link to the original video, which you are free to watch.
We were doing a reaction/review to the video and the watermark was barely visible and helps with not having the video blocked.
      Hope that helps.

@@BritPopsReact it won't be blocket. the watermark is enough in the way to feel annoying.
I'm a consumer of you content and instead of saying things like "is that all you had to comment"
Maybe have a thinker that perhaps you could change hpw the watermark is there. you CAN place is differently.

It is on every video that we create as we never know which videos get blocked and which do not until we upload them and they get reviewed.
The watermark may stand out where the video is dark.
If we place it different it may not be enough to prevent the video from be allowed.
