That dude had a level head about having AA cracked
it wasnt his money
@@marllomonhe’s a bracelet winning pro with a incredible understanding of the game. And he only sold some action he didn’t sell it all, genius.
@marllomon Thinking the main event is only about "money" is a casual take. It's every competitive poker players dream to win it.
@@marllomon some of it was, nobody gives 100% away to play for free.
@@skeemininnemhe got in 56 high on a Q7T board as a 4 better on the flop in the bracelet event he won vs KQ with 90 left lol
It’s cool that Phil likes to have fun but between the awkward “dancing/moves” and the fact that nobody seemed to care at all… that was kinda painful to watch
It's classic Hellmuth. If it worked it wouldn't be "him". Hearing him talk about going to the wrong doors, missing the cue, and how much longer it was to the table than anticipated while playing was hilarious. Keep it up Phil, I showered up to Vegas and hung out last year, just to hopefully watch your entrance. 👍
Only Phil cares, he is so awkward it is cringe.
It’s fun, I don’t mind.
Yes its called cringe watching, we are laughing at him not with him
Hellmuth's awkward mockery of the event has become just a strange tradition now.
Phil helmuth is on a whole other planet than us 😂😂😂
Greatest to ever do it
@@musicmann8965 just ask him
oh yeah? the earth is actually flat so you need to get some help
Called delusional
A level I never want to be on.
Scotty bout took a nose dive
I read this comment before I was at the point of his majestic entrance on the stage, and thought you meant he has been taking some nasal beers, which also made sense.
Just curious, does Kung Fu help bullet catching? 😂
Phil and his backup dancers " the Remember Me's?
Before late-reg was a thing Phil used to get blinded-down before his 4pmish entrance. Goid ol days.
Phil is a good guy after all, so people forgive him his faults and even take part in this extravaganza :)
12:28 if you fall it's gonna be all over, baby
Nice footage unseen by most. The full Helmuth entrance set up was refreshing and cool.
What in the actual fk did I just watch.... at least I didn't have to see this guy in tights again. That is imprinted on my brain, unfortunately.🤦♂️
That’s an elite response …
Am I the only one that thought the Hellmuth thing was Cringe?
Real men don't do that or even use that word, lol.
No.
Dude, I love your outlook and you attitude. I’m a new fan.
Played with the grinch hat guy at wsop in 2019 and he is absolutely horrible at poker. Was just punting off his stack in dumb spots for no reason.
But has he ever told you that "he makes a living playing against players like you"?
2019???
@@Lisa-oq7ep yeah and he’s still wearing the same hat 😂
I've never understood his "entrances". Why? Just why? I don't get it.
Your ego must be this high to understand.
Im guessing. . It was paid for by *$Karate* to get exposure... also it may be more evident thru nbc instead of the current streams
For the same reason you made this comment…attention
Just Phil hellmunt and 17 gold bracelet WSOP !!!!!!
@@DrThoritah So anyone that leaves any comment is seeking attention? Or, just mine, specifically?
Helmuth has def grown on me over the years. He’s a different catlol
You mean tool
Super level headed dude, if I backed him this would give me extreme confidence about future stakes
Wow what a resilient fella
This is on par with a 3rd Grade talent show... 100% Honest... Thats what makes it soooo Great!
Just realized Old Phil actually is Old Steven Seagal. Might be the same guy. Ever seen them in the same room?
It's Stephen, lol.
@@ambientexpanse go Fact-chUCK yourself.
12:34 drunk asian
Jack Effel the newest victim on OZEMPIC it’s just ridiculous
Hellmuth is the king of cringe. The Michael Scott of poker.
Real men don't use that word, lol.
I truely wonder about the prep and collab for this... Did they think it was going to be amazing? Was this the best they could come up with? It still probably cost Phil $50,000.
Did Pokernews get new reporters? Anyone know who the Euro guy and the blonde American reporters are?
What a stand up guy that lost with AA. I’d be crying saying “why the f$&@ are they calling with KK” guy took it well.
First time I played the main event I got 53K in on level one preflop with Aces other guy had Kings and wouldn't quit reraising.
Legendary Johnny Chan 🍊
Guy with aces, you did the right thing and you are a good player just wasn’t your day.
Scottie and Jungle should be ashamed to be part of that.
Chris Moneymaker looks 75
Not losing his own money makes it burn less
What happened to mike?
Shouldve came on time
You playing main event ?
Thank god Phil Hellmuth has poker, he can’t dance for shit
Phil and jungle look like father and son.
Lol which one which tho
From 600 to 2,800 is a 3-bet? Someone explain that to me.
3 has nothing to do with the value or the size of the bet. Any continuation bet is a '3-bet'
Dude who had AA cracked was much calmer than I would have been.
Enough of Corey pls.
I saw Phil in Disneyworld. I didn’t see him at first, but then I heard “Honey”, and sure enough it was him. Another
What happened to poker?
Why is Jungle part of this clownshow?
Always is, him dressed as the lion on a chain was the best. Good friends. Even Shannon Elizabeth, how? 😂
@@Joshezellentrepreneur that was cool to see her, she was in a 2008 poker movie called " Deal" was a decent poker movie with Burt Reynolds

Chan is a thief and Effel um no comment for now lol
corrie eyerig is a fucking GOD
cringe level 5000!
Real men don't use that word, lol.
Huh?🚾
what a dk
The Phil entrances are so cringe 🤢
Real men don't use that word, lol.
Karate is from Japan, Kung Fu is from China. They're different martial arts and different countries. And Phil can't dance. Cringeworthy!
Real men don't use that C word, lol.
cocaine is a helluva drug
It’s shameful what poker has become
Jeff got cancer or why he so skinny
Part of the game.. But with all the ICM involved, don't make the pot so big pre..its the main event. Better you win 20-40k than 60k cause on the other hand you maybe lose all and with 20-40 you still are in when losing. The chips you could win with allin are not so important than the hole stack you could lose.. You have time buddy.. Especially in THIS tournament.
There are times to lay down aces, but this was not one of them. Unless you're talking about the stone cold bubble or a significant pay jump later in the tourney, you should never walk away from a situation where you're at least 3:1 to double up.
What does 'ICM' stand for and how does it work in a poker tournament?
@@ambientexpanse Independent Chip Model. It's a model that you can use to calculate a real money value for your chip stack in a tournament.
Its very distracting for the players when Hellmuth does that nonsense every year during the WSOP.
You're just jealous, lol.
@@ambientexpanse Sure, that's it, buddy. 😅
Phil Dirt Helmuth's entrance this year was a total embarrassment to everyone involved and to the WSOP as a whole. It was nothing but a narcissistic, grandiose, parade of over inflated egos. But let me tell you how I really feel..............
What was the difference from any other year?
You shocked 95% of pros are ego maniacs
@@Yourfavoritedealer You have a good point but the percentages might be off a bit. I'd say about 50% +/- are definite ego maniacs.
My step son is a professional poker player. He has made millions but he is actually very modest about his accomplishments. In last years main event he got far enough to win $67,000.00.
Also last year in a tournament outside of the WSOP he paid $3,500.00 entry and walked away with $125,000.00
Super cringy
Boring
Stupid to lose 60k in first hand no matter what
He got it all in pre. You do that 100 of 100 times with AA if you have the opportunity.
@@Brian-uy2tj you are looking at end results of hand only. You would play AA all in preflop any chance you get.
Love this results-oriented comment. If im put all-in first hand with AA and its heads up, Im gonna call. If I know my opponent will call my all-in pre-flop while im holding Aces and its heads up, I'm shoving.
