Well done video and the repair worked and it only took 15 minutes total. It helped that when I got the new part I became familiar with the green clip to understand it thoroughly before starting the replacement, I worked the green clip several times to insure it worked properly.
This was the exact video for 2015 edge sport v6. Took 5 minutes. So easy. Part was 50 bucks. Unplugging negative terminal didn't clear the code. But after further review if you fixed the problem correctly, ford cars and trucks will clear the check engine code themselves after a certain number of short trips. Took our car about 3 days driving 25 mile trips to work and back, be patient the code will clear if you fixed the problem.
AutoZone will look it up for you at the store. We also have a link in the description to Amazon to order one. You can also price one out at a Ford dealership parts department for an official OEM replacement.

Dude this was such an easy fix. I’ve been dreading the dealership price. Took me 10 minutes after getting the part in
Thanks, this was perfect. Saved me some loot for sure.
Thank you sir! We appreciate you!

Great video straight to the point. 👍
Great video
What’s the part called above and to the left of the purge valve. The one with vacuum hose coming off it??
The part I ordered to put on isn't that long. It's just the end I guess. Hoping I fix the issue.
I disconnected the negative battery wire. But my check engine light still on on a cord edge sport 2016 v6 2.7 L eco boost turbo
Give it some time and a number of short trips. If what you replaced was the problem the car will clear the code by itself
Will this work on 2017? My engine bay looks way different....😔
That's an older model Edge, as the 2015 - 2018 has a completely different Vapor Canister Purge Valve Assembly
It is a 2015 Ford Edge with the 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine. Other models without the EcoBoost engine have the purge Canister in a different place.
What is the Auto zone P/N for the purge valve

My 15 Ford edge is giving me the code P1450 ☹️
