With the Extension of the Hokuriku shinkansen to Tsuruga, i wonder if Tsurugi services will be extended to Tsuruga. It can become a high speed commuter rail connecting Toyama-Kanazawa-Komatsu-Fukui-Tsuruga.
@@ys-train The Tsurugi service is a very fun ride, during the day its usually not very crouded, and Connects the 2 cities of Toyama and Kanazawa in 23 minutes vs 1hr by car
@@Mew178 yes, this is a problem. once east past Toyama there many tunnels and the elevated track walls also can block the view alot on the Hokuriku shinkansen. Its the least Scenic shinkansen route, not the best for viewing out of the train. After the Extension opens, Between Echizen-Takefu and Kanazawa there won't be many tunnels, so it will improve the view from the train a bit. But it also depends on the height on the elevated track walls as well.

It's possible, if not you'll have Asama doing the same route for sure. And once they complete to Shin-Osaka you'll probably have more types of trains.
I think it will probably be extended to the section between Tsuruga and Toyama.

@@cleasanna05 I like it because unlike most of the Hokuriku Shinkansen this part you can actually look at the scenery.
