    Wow, very impressed. Him reaching over the guitar neck for the end of the solo, grabbing the top fret from the other side, bending up to the high E note, and holds it while he throws the pick out to the audience. That, my friends, is a Rock Star.

    Great frontman. Takes most of the heavy lifting off the shoulders of the other guys and allows them to just jam out. Looks like such a great show.

    Dude actually sounds pretty close to the way he did in the studio recording 20 years ago, kinda nuts, can definitely hear a little strain in the super high parts though

      Listen to *Justin’s* singing on any of The Darkness’ albums from recent years and you’ll find that his voice is as good now as it ever was, they haven’t just reappeared this year..

      @@andytraverse I’ll have to do that, I’m a pretty new fan, found out about them from his RUclips channel and wondering who he was. Unfortunately missed them at their peak seeing as I was born only 2 years before this record came out

      Falsetto notes, like that are reinforced by the diaphragm. As we get older, the vocal folds are less pliable. While i have no doubt he still has the air to push those notes, the lack of pliability makes it harder to hit. Many singers, as they age, move into a more upper head voice, and that takes the place of the reinforced falsetto.
      That is, of course, unless you are king diamond. That guy still hits those damned notes….

      Most people became fan after first album.............then dropped them after second! Personally I couldn't stand all the hype at the time and heralding them as the saviours of British rock.

      They broke up in 2007, but reformed with the original Permission to Land lineup in 2011 (they had a different bassist for One Way Ticket to Hell…) but Ed the original drummer left again in 2015 due to health issues and was replaced by none other than Rufus Taylor (son of Roger, of Queen). It’s always been the brothers and mostly Frankie too, there was just a period of time they needed away from one another and to focus on other projects like any family
