The night before he said he can’t wait for us to train. Then in the morning I went to meet him and 10 minutes before we were supposed to meet he said he is on his way. Now I’m not sure if he texted me during those 2 weeks but I would like to know. So I unblocked him. But won’t text him. Do you think I should use your 90 days off rule to see if he’s gonna text me?

Learned this the hard way with a best friend of mine that I was in love with for years. We started talking and casually dating for us to go into a romantic relationship and I chased him away. I let my emotions get the best of me and did things Kev mentioned in this video to him that made me come off super desperate. Me too." 😒😒 Part of the problem I think is that people think that these situations will NEVER happen to them because they either have not been exposed to these situations, or they don't have friends or people around them who are open about exposing the downsides of promiscuity and sexual recklessness. We live in a society that praises and celebrates having sex with strangers frequently, which is often the perfect mix for women finding themselves in situations where they are being SEXUALLY ASSAULTED/RAPED. And then they don't report it for a myriad of reasons like shame, guilt, being doubted and then back to SHAME . I will never blame a woman for anyone's horrid actions, HOWEVER, we as women NEED to be AWARE and make decisions that take care of ourselves. Like....*NOT GOING TO RANDOM MENS HOMES FOR SEX OR INVITING THEM TO OURS. *OR CHOOSING TO BE INTIMATE WITH SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW. What's the gotdamn rush??? Every bit of effort I put into that relationship I would double into my healing. I would reflect and find a lesson that I could learn from my experience. I met this guy on tinder. He is a personal trainer. We exchanged numbers and we started talking and he offered to train me for free. He said he trains other people for free who doesn’t go to his gym. So we were supposed to met on a Friday. The night before he said he can’t wait for us to train. Then in the morning I went to meet him and 10 minutes before we were supposed to meet he said he is on his way. The. 5 minutes he said his tire blew out. 🙄I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn’t lying but I never texted him after that. Then after 3 days he texted me and said how I’m doing. We started talking back again. Since we were not able to meet and it’s been like 2 weeks and he never mentioned anything about training anymore I just sent him pics of my meals to see if my nutrition is good. He would respond after 24 hours. I would text him paragraphs and he would text me back with 1 word. So i finally blocked him temporarily for 2 weeks. Now I’m not sure if he texted me during those 2 weeks but I would like to know. So I unblocked him. But won’t text him. Do you think I should use your 90 days off rule to see if he’s gonna text me?

I pointed out to a handful of people, that they're giving out goodies to people who haven't committed to them or have not shown enough interest yet, but it falls on deaf ears, and then they complain they can't get or keep a man. Part of the problem I think is that people think that these situations will NEVER happen to them because they either have not been exposed to these situations, or they don't have friends or people around them who are open about exposing the downsides of promiscuity and sexual recklessness.
We live in a society that praises and celebrates having sex with strangers frequently, which is often the perfect mix for women finding themselves in situations where they are being SEXUALLY ASSAULTED/RAPED. And then they don't report it for a myriad of reasons like shame, guilt, being doubted and then back to SHAME .
I will never blame a woman for anyone's horrid actions, HOWEVER, we as women NEED to be AWARE and make decisions that take care of ourselves. Like....*NOT GOING TO RANDOM MENS HOMES FOR SEX OR INVITING THEM TO OURS. *OR CHOOSING TO BE INTIMATE WITH SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW. What's the gotdamn rush??? I mean dayummm.😑

I thank god I have never been in any of these situations because I was taught to make better decisions than what society is trying to shove down our throats. Humans are stupid and tribal. Just follow what other people are doing or what they tell you too. I've never been a random hookup up person,and I never will be.
I allow myself to get to know a guy (his personality,characteristics etc) for a MINIMUM of three months before I even consider having sex. Why? Because within that time, I will be able to see what I do and don't like about him....if you look and listen enough. If I like him enough, then....let's head to the STD clinic on a "day date" and get tested for EVERY STD out there. Then....we can proceed....WHEN IM READY.
But guys I have met in the past don't seem to reach the three month personality/character test. Some have tried to manipulate and lie about their intentions....and it always SHOWS. 😒

Every bit of effort I put into that relationship I would double into my healing. I would reflect and find a lesson that I could learn from my experience. I would question what I could have done differently. I would spend time pampering and loving on myself. After months of this I would emerge stronger and wiser... Hope this helps...
