First thank you for your service. Secondly thank you for documenting this. We are trying to do the same with ours. We just got a 77 Ramada and are going to have to replace all the bed end panels as well. You just saved me hours of work. Your effort is GREATLY appreciated!!

Paint can take up to a month to cure. It might be the paint would hold up better if given time

Regarding keeping the upper panel in place - Could you lay both the back and upper panel on saw horses so you don’t have gravity working against you? Or could you use museum putty similar to what was in the corners of the window to keep the frp in place?

I looking into buying an Apache camper, good video, it give me an idea of what to expect. Also I got the idea of using stick on wood tiles to replace the panels. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

FRP does come in an almond color: www.lowes.com/pd/Sequentia-48-in-x-9-ft-Embossed-Almond-Fiberglass-Reinforced-Wall-Panel/4768239?cm_mmc=SCE_PLA_ONLY-_

Yep, almond and bright white are the only colors I’ve seen unfortunately. Would be nice if it was available in different colors.

Thanks for making these apache videos. Did you ever replace the bed end ceiling with frp?

Unfortunately I haven't had time to do any more work on the Apache in awhile. I hope to get back to it soon but may not be doing any more work on it until winter.

if you use adhesion promoter paint will stick

Not sure how well it would work on the non-stick surface, but would definitely be worth a try. 👍🏻
