- There seems to be so many unanswered questions in the Sly Cooper series. Although it seems like some characters have already met their end, there still seems to be some loose ends in the story.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but I would like to correct Mulatosly. Clockwerk didn't kill Sly, because he wanted to show the world the coopers were nothing without the thievous raccoonus. Not because he needed hate, matter of fact doesn't he have the hate chip inside of his body so he stay, ''fresh'', for thousands of years?
Think of this, how did he remain alive after all these years? He FUELED his hate chip thanks to the Coopers. He attacked when the kids were born. Kids would grown, more hate. Yes, Coopers found a way to beat him until a certain point. What Clockwerk stated in Sly 1 about the book could just be a cover up, he perhaps didn't want anyone to find out about the hate chip. Why didn't he wait for Sly to have kids? Well maybe it was intentional. Clockwerk could've striked Slytunkhamen's kid and put an end to the Coopers. Maybe he found out about the book in Sly 1. But come on, I'm sure he knew about it way before and didn't take it seriously. When Clockwerk mentioned the book, did he do the same exact thing to all ancestors? Probably not. But who knows really, maybe Clockwerk did find out about the book in Sly 1, that could explain why he had the pages ripped out.
VTNVIVI also he could've known that sly would defeat him and send either neyla to betray arpeggio ,or send Dr.m but I think he transfered his body to a powerful computer to regain his body more powerful.
Dr.M & Clockwerk team up could work in the movie. Not to mention Sly's parents needs to be explained.
An idea came to mind, Dr.M could be shown but not fully.

That would be the mother of all plot twists. But what made her choose that path? I mean we do have a portrait, very hard to imagine.
VTNVIVI she could have been playing Connor that whole time, very diabolical I know. It would give the movie or the next game a very emotional reveal though. probably won't happen but it's fun to speculate

Dr. M may hate the Coopers because Connor would not use any of the money they stole, he put it in cooper vault, maby Dr. M wanted to be rich, and wanted all for himself, and BTW in the games have you heard that Cooper's used the money that they stole (exempt Salim)
Maybe who knows. But him saying ''your father was never such a good friend'' tells me it has to do with something else. As for Coopers stealing money and using it, I don't recall. Pickpocketing aside, it's an interesting question. Sure, maybe they sold stolen valuables but other than that, how did they make money?
They have to make a Sly 5, they can't just end it that way

I think a good question is What is Bentley, Murray's and even Carmelita's backstory? I know that Bentley and Murray grew up with Sly at the orphanage but what kind of families did they come from. Not saying that Sly's stealing the whole show but we know more history about each villain then the main characters

8:44 - I could see Conner being a jerk to both his wife and Dr.M but what if his wife was the selfish one among the 3, she probably started the feud between Conner and Dr.M a just to have Conner for herself and after Conner's death, his wife ended up dumping Sly at the orphanage?

I am thinking of collaborating with others, just thinking of the subject. Two cases for Sly 5: Penelope redeeming herself or being a villain. Dr.M, we all think he's dead, if they decide to bring him back and come up with an excuse, I wouldn't be surprised at all. If McSweeney was an old friend, I think M would have visited him in prison, maybe something prevented him of doing so. Sly's mother, who knows, there's just too many ideas :P. Yes that was an impression haha.
I and most fans out there would prefer Penelope to redeem herself, that can happen if Bentley or Sly could get through to her. But if not then I would say no harm done if I didn't start with the 3rd game. 😢💔
If Dr.M did survive the collapse of the vault then we could see more of how his mind worked or if possible, Sly could also reach him as well as a Cooper, he did seem to back in their confrontation a bit. Also about his connection with McSweeney, I don't know what the situation is at the moment with them, do you think he'll ever know what became of Dr.M or if he already knows? Also my question about M1 ...?
Too many ideas for Sly's mother indeed, perhaps she was just a victim of all this but I won't rule out the possibility of her being horrible to Sly.
I'm certain either SuckerPunch or Sanzaru Games will surprise us with this idea if they do include these ideas one day. ❔

Does Sly 5 Exist?
Number 1 is like cartoon parents their waiting for the right moment to show their faces

If Sly 5 is the last one, a reboot following the movie's plot wouldn't sound like a bad idea. If they rush the story in that game, then it's a bad idea.
Can u imagine if the 5th game started off like Jak 3 where slys walking threw the desert in ancient Egypt has a flashback to the beginning of every game and adds the events from each game with slys voice then flashbacks to what happen in thieves in time then he passes out and is found by The sly tunkumun. Then the name of the game appears and so on
the reason why clockwork left him alive is because he wanted to show the world that cooper's were nothing without the the the the thevius raccoonus he says this in sly cooper and the thevius raccoonus.
He does say that, but I always felt like there's more to his doing.

Here's a dark theory: Could Bentley have built Clockwerk's body? I think he might, in the past, to maintain the timeline. Also, i think Dr M's last name is Mandrill, a variety of monkey that ressemble him.

You ask this question, despite THE FIRST GAME OUTRIGHT TELLING YOU THE ANSWER.
Also, backstories should only be explored if you are out of ideas for a sequel.
And last, the same people who were upset about Penelope in Sly 4, were the same people who instantly forgave her for all the bad things she did in Sly 3.

Although the first game answered the question, there's just more to it. Did he do the same for all Coopers? Perhaps. But for what reason? The hate chip. Clockwerk sure, he wanted to prove something, but I believe he didn't want anyone to find out about the hate chip and its function.
VTNVIVI Sly 5 could look deeper into clockwerk's backstory about what caused him have hatred towards coopers hopefully

the second question was answered in the first game, clockwork didn't kill sly because he wanted to show the world that without the coopers famliy book that a cooper is nothing without it. The second question is answered in the final boss fight in the first game.
He did answer it yes, but I feel like there's more to it. He needs hate to survive, the constant feeling of knowing that a Cooper is still alive (Sly) is what kept him going.
Why isn't Sly scared for life, imagine hiding in a Dark closet listening to your family yell and scream as they are being killed. Plus the short animation implied that he peeked a little and watched. Think about it
He's hiding a lot of emotion, he's that type of character. I'd like to see his broken side, something we haven't seen yet.
I think I'm one of the few people who liked what they did to Penelope
I guess I didn't mind it, but just the fact that she was once friends, it's sad.
Then again Penelope could’ve been hypnotized by Ms. Decel and she wasn’t able to get out of the tranze
This could also show that La Paradox captured Penelope and used her to help build machines and a time machine
Plus she seemed so innocent to suddenly just go evil, sure she was the Black Baron but she did it because she wanted to be in the race but they didn’t allow her, she didn’t really have any evil intentions
Based on the “Easter eggs” for Clockwork I’m Sly 4, it is safe to assume Clockwork will be the next villain (again), or at least get more history on why he hates the Cooper family

The 1 question i have is where is sly's mom? The games never mentioned her i hope in sly 5 she gas some role
sly 4 had this easter egg where u can spot clockwerk at every ancestor map so i think that when sly got traveled to egypt with time machine and got stuck in there so what if slythunkhamen and sly find clockwerk and kill him together? (sorry for bad english)
If they kill Clockwerk, it will impact the future greatly, Sly might no longer be who he is.
I have a theroy that the clockwerk you see in sly 4 in bobs place is clockwerks father, then he died when slytuncuman was around, then his son killed slytuncuman#1, then he kept killing coopers until his battle with sly cooper, he lost because his robot parts weren't that strong, which is why his father died when slytuncuman#1 was around, then nelya sacarficed her live to become clockwerk, but what she didn't know was the parts weren't that strong, which is why she was defeated, but she lost, witch ended clockwerk's life and nelya's life.

Maybe Sly's parents are gonna come back in the next game or movie and it's gonna be a huge plot twist when they reveal that they're his parents
The only way for them to return or to be seen is via time travel. People had wondered about this idea for Sly 4. Creative director Sanzaru was like nah. As for Sly 5's case who knows.

1. How the heck did Clockwerk become robotic in the first place? Everybody wants to know that one.
2. Is Clockwerk going to be in Sly 5 or not?
3. When the heck is Sly 5 coming already? Will it ever?
And 4. Will Sucker Punch make Sly 5? Because if they don't, I'll be p@%&#$d.

Wait if you think Sly did say ''he tried to save us'' what if Sly had a brother that was just that was littler or older maybe 3 or 4 or even 1 or 2 years ahead of sly. So I am going back to the whole thing about some one stealing the canes what if his brother asked them to steal the can because he was jealous of Sly.

Idk why everyone hates that Penelope betrayed the gang, it made her more of a character to me, she was so bland in Sly 3 like I really didn't care about her she just seemed like a Bentley love interest and that's all there was no mystery to her, she was basically just a basic side character, but now she can become an amazing villain if they do Sly 5 right.
I dislike it because it was a complete 360° for her character from Sly 3. She just became a copycat Dr. M in my opinion. If she became a villian in some other way then it probably would've made more sense, but instead she just popped out to be bad out of nowhere!
I understand why people hated it, it was too quick. But, I believe she will play a huge role in Sly 5.

Manga Blizzard Sorry but that part in the story was really dumb. Why she didn't break up with him, if she have enough with the cooper. Making her bad guy was not smart and didn't do the story at all.
There are definitely some things we don't know the answer to I'm really hoping we get a Sly 5 one day because I love this series and I hate the ending of Sly 4.

There probably isn't any underlying meaning to why Sly's parents have their faces hidden. They did that all the time in old kids' shows.
Remember Cow & Chicken? Always wondered why they decided to go with hidden identities.
The old Peanuts cartoons didn't show adults at all. They didn't even give them voices.
They don't have a clue of his wherabouts...interesting...its not like they have a book that was written in that era that could hold messages written by sly trapped in ancient egypt that they find in the present... You know a book that was having his family's history erased from its very pages by Le Paradox in the last game...oh wait! They do! And frankly i like the idea of tracking down Slytankhaman to write down his wherabouts
Sly can definitely use the book as a messenger. Maybe the Thievius Raccoonus began as a simple scroll, or writings on a wall. Whatever it is, Sly will have to use it.

Maybe Clockwork is the reason Dr. M betrayed The Cooper Family?
If anything, I think Clockwerk was the one who revealed the location of the vault in exchange for the location of the book.
Let's Hope they put that in Sly 5 (around (2050))

What if Ms. Decibel hypnotized Penelope with her trumpet power to help her and Le Paradox bc she wouldn't agree to help them because she didn't want to betray Bentley and the gang? Penelope would be a very good asset to have so I feel like Le Paradox would do anything. So hypnotize Penelope into betraying the gang and having an evilish mindset and to invent weapons and such for his cause?

Yes, possibly! And yes I agree, its a stretch but she could still be hypnotized to believe that she hates the gang and stuff so maybe she needs it to be fixed/reversed back. Thats the only logical reason I could see her doing something so cruel to Bentley and the gang

Can someone tell me why everyone was against Penelope being evil? Before that I found her to be an incredibly generic character who served no purpose other than being Bentleys love interest.

Dr. M and Clockwerk sounds way to insane to actually happen. Not only was Clockwerk killed off in the second game with all of his parts rusting away from the destruction of the hate chip. But Dr. M is also implied to be dead as he never left the cave as it caved in. I don't know how you guys came up with that but it just sounds ridiculous. Love your vids but it sounds like you reached way too far.
Hmm... Have you ever thought of Clockwerk's brain, what happened to it? Didn't Clockwerk say ''you'll never be rid of me Cooper''? Arpeggio mentioned his brain, was his brain in Clock-La? Perhaps not, but someone might eventually find it and bring back Clockwerk. Like I said, we only saw rocks crumbling, maybe he is dead. If they decide to bring him back, I wouldn't be surprised. As for too far, I think the parents video sums it up XD
