Saw Volbeat in Flint, MI at The Machine Shop like 12 years ago and was one of the best live shows I've seen. Maybe Band-maid changing your feelings on vocals is why your more accepting of Michael's vocals now. Because yeah he's not a native English speaker. Just a thought.

I generally don't like male voices, or rather I find them all generic. But I love this guy's voice because it is so different from most male voices and the tones he produces are simply pleasing to my ears.
It's that Mear guy again! It's OK, I'll give him a shot. 😅
