I’m not going to my graduation ceremony this September because I’m really afraid I won’t be able to avoid the hand shaking. It breaks my heart because I wish I could go. I worked really really hard for my degree but in the end of the day the barakah will leave my life if I prioritize my graduation over Islam. But I can’t tell my family this. They will mock me for this.
@@tarafb8315 I want to but I am afraid of the reaction I will get. I’m horrible with taking criticism (working on that actively )and if they react badly or negatively it will affect me.
@@fatimaabbas4663 is that allowed? I know it’s allowed in cases where you fear if you don’t shake hands you’ll get fired and then you won’t be able to provide etc… but I didn’t think it would apply in my situation.
