The “battle tower” is actually called the combat pillar, which is different from a battle tower because you fight through 5 floors, each with 10 trainers each getting stronger then the last, and at the end of each floor, you fight a level leader who is the strongest trainer in the floor. It’s a really cool thing
Selecto: states that Pokémon that evolve via evolutionary items are weaklings and that they should not exist.
Also Selecto: uses Shiftry and Electivire
I think the game is trying to say how hypocritical they are as a group
This fangame is honestly a very underrated. Loved this game when I played through it. The quiz does actually impact your trainer type. Your trainer type gives you a few bonuses based on how many badges you have.
Patches is not just in Elden Ring. He's been in all the Dark Souls games, Demon's Souls and Bloodborne. He's a fan favourite.
Your friendship level with pokemon does help a little. The higher your friendship the more they dodge moves and in some versions even hold on at 1 hp to not disappoint you.
That was only implemented on gen 6 and onwards. Hard to assume that’s the case here but I could be wrong
Patches is in all the Souls games including Demon's Souls which was his first appearance. He's also in Bloodborne, but he looks different. You should see for yourself

IDK if you have played Sovereign of the Skies or not but that romhack (focusing on Latios and Latias) is truly spectacular. Unfortunately not finished yet but i can't wait to play its full version ❤

patches aint only in elden ring but also in dark souls 3 and various other fromsoft games. patches does kick you down from a height when he tells you about treasure being across a bridge in DS3
Patches is an mascot of dark souls series, like actually
He is even in bloodborne as Easter egg and all the other souls parts
It would be funny to see the man in armored core.
I don't remember him in DS2 or Sekiro (played both but didn't find him), but he's:
- The guy that kicks you off a cliff in Tomb of the Giants, DS1.
- The head of the spiders in the Nightmare realm where you fight Micolash, Bloodborne.
- The guy who is pretending to be Seiegward and kicks you into the mini-swamp before Deacons, DS3.
- The guy who surrenders to you in a cave and kicks you off a cliff to the route to the entrance to Volcano Manor, Elden Ring

There's another hackrom called Pokémon Souvereing of the Skies with latios and latias as legendaries and it's pretty cool. Sadly, it has been in a demo phase for years, but I think it has enough content to do a video about it
You can't complain about the lady gym leader being too weak when you set the difficult to easy 😂
Pretty sure patches in the well is a reference to sigmire of katarina from dks3 patches pushes him in a well and steals everything even his armor from him
Latios and Latias are my tied sixth favorite pokemon of all time just behind Raquaza on 5th place, Salamence and Hydreigon tied for 4th place, Kingdra on 3rd place, Dragapult on 2nd place and Flygon which is my favorite pokemon
This was probable already mentionned, but Patches originally comes from the dark souls series, where he pushes you into a pit in hopes of looting your corpse afterwards, pretty fitting with the well then 😊
Actually, Patches as we know him first showed up in Demon’s Souls, while his name comes from a similar character all the way back in one of the early Armoured Core games

Reminds me of Soverien of the Skies, Such a good rom hack for how short it is. Sadly I think it'll be a long long time til thats done, but it's nice to know there is another fan game for the eon trio

I just like hearing theopinions of others and after hearing you say this in your top 5 Im just curious. When I played it and chose pliplup the game randomized it into an Articuno and I was just looking at it on the screen staring at it forgetting I put the randomizer on

This game has everything I could ever want in Pokemon. An amazing and apealing region to travel and explore, a Great music choice, even if its froms official games that already exist, Easily Slappable victims of my amazing prowess in NPC Trainers, with challenging Battles with Rivals and Gym Leaders where it counts, tons of Pokemon to catch, AN INCENTIVE to do so, only the first 4 Generations of Pokemon to decrease all the useless Bloat, No Regional Forms, a Densely Populated Town for every town, a Pokescanner, AKA Habitat List, and most importantly of all, q Speed up Button (Honestly, every Pokemon game should have these things madatory).
My few gripes I have are that the team designs are TERRIBLE, and the Number of badges you need before you can buy Revives is way way way too many for how consistently I have to go back to the Pokemon Center. Im not a competitive player, but its nice to see they also have a Hard mode and a Battle Tower for those who ARE sweaty.
And of course, the fact that I can't buy this game to support the devs and that Gamefreak STILL can't make something better than a handful of fans who make these for love. It's bullshit backwards I say, and it still sucks! I pray to Arceus we don't get another Official game this year. 😰

I made a mistake.
I picked up this game and picked hard mode, wondering why there wasn't a medium difficulty or something.
The first gym might actually be impossible with a forced level cap and team cap. I swear her pokemon are maxxed EVs and her Ace even violates the level cap.
I need help.
Make sure you get the phanpy from the trade and then you just need to worry about the chinchou, I've struggled with every gym so far but with some planning and grinding you get there
I think I stopped playing this game because I could not decide which starter to choose. Might give it a try again.
