The Bloodbelly comb jelly might be the coolest thing I’ve ever seen on this channel. Which is really a strong statement because there are so many. This Jelly woke up after the party after everyone was gone, he kept the party lit.
Squid and octopus have always creeped me out. They stare at you like they see into your mind. I'm not surprised they are some of the smartest animals in the ocean.
ruclips.net/video/bAdcJW9Lsnk/видео.html Idk if that is a type of ctenophora, this video talks a little about it, it have "color lights" all around it too
Incredible footage. Deep sea creatures always get me thinking about how the depths of the ocean are quite literally the ancient soup from which we all came. The first forms of complex life arose in the oceans. The environment is so utterly different and alien compared to land but there feels something primordial about everything that lives down there.
I am in total awe of these weird and wonderful creatures of the deep! In spite of the fact life isn't easy in the abyss, I can't help feeling it's a way more peaceful world down there! 🌏💚🐙🤗
I am a fan of these videos... These animals have such a strange behavior compared to what we are used to, they might as well be form another planet... Thank you for this amazing experience!
NOOOOO POLYCHELIDAE!! HE WAS JUST VIBING THERE AND HE GOT SUCKED UP IN HIS SLEEP 😭😭😭😭 You can even see what was likely his “OH SHIT-” moment just before being consumed 😂😂
I often wonder if the lights on these ROV are blinding the wildlife at all. Agreed that most deep water creatures cannot see , but some who are not permanent deep water dwelling do have vision?
The armhook squid looks like its wearing a headpiece. It looks pretty as it swims as it seems in time with the background music your videos always capture my attention 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹

@@antremiomoscocio yes, they are mostly blind, but if they aren't their eyes are so perceptive of light often that it must feel like how we feel when looking into the sun for some of them
Absolutely amazing. If life exists elsewhere in the universe on ocean worlds, I'd like to imagine it looks somewhat like these examples. The jelly @ 18:00 is especially alien-like.
It is so amazing to me to be able to see these amazing creatures that people had never seen before. Like a hundred years ago no one had ever seen half the stuff I've seen miles under the ocean. Truly enjoy watching these kind of videos. Can't wait to see what else is out there! Really hope I will still be alive when someone gets a good video of a huge Giant Squid!
Creatures that live in the deep are some of the most ancient beings, during natural catastrophies being in that depth can give you a better chance of survival, although they also depend on what falls from above to survive.
I think these are some of the most beautifuI creatures in this universe. ITS SO RARE. We dont know the value of this planet. I love the squiddy squids.
[16:00] Lol, what do you mean "this time one at rest?" I'm pretty sure that first one would have considered himself to be "at rest" until he was suddenly slurped up by a giant, random, magically mysterious vacuum and his entire existence became "I have no idea why or how, but I'm almost positive the world just got a whole lot smaller."
‘Wonders will never cease’, and thanks to your efforts we continue to see them. (At 13:08, to quote ‘Dudley Dursley’ of the Harry Potter universe, “Make it move!”) 🐨🇦🇺
I only hope that the polychidae that was captured was not harmed but was released eventually I felt sad to see how it was swimming around when captured 😥😥😥😥🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
_There's_ that bottle opener I thought we lost.. now we don't need to dig around looking for dead Bic lighters anymore, babe! I found the bottle opener at 1:06 in this video! Honestly, there is no way he's not popping open Coronas for everybody down there. Is he _flirting_ with the ROV? The cutesy shoulder dip, the lingering stare.. if someone didn't get his digits, then science will be ashamed. Cool looking fish. 3:56 those eyes have that stick-on googly eyes appearance. Probably trying to trick the boss. "Is Wiggles here in the office?" Yeah, at her desk, see? She's _wide_ awake. Aha! Then at 4:14 she throws down the "come at me, bro" pose.. or she just gave someone the finger.. _lots_ of fingers.. or maybe she's voguing (90s Madonna reference for the elders - boom.) 11:30 took me a couple minutes to realize those little dark hyphens weren't floating, they're _swimming!_ such tiny fish. Cool crabs.
LOL I never thought of it like this , rovs must be the equivalent of alien abduction! They get tagged , poked prodded and (if lucky) returned ....and are writing a block buster scree play!
I wonder if the squid is imitating a floating sea cucumber? It would be a good way to avoid predators since squid are very eatable while sea cucumbers aren’t

As much as I agree with you, looking at some of the people I work with, they've definitely come from vegetable soup.
