These new versions you uploaded are great. I would be flattered if you could upload the complete Piano Concerto No. 20 by Mozart. Thank you in advance!
This recording sounds very empty and thinner in texture. It doesn’t make the most of the pauses when they are required (especially in the 1st movement) and everything seems too staccato. It’s like they are playing too metronomically and not lyrically enough (almost like they are playing in a sort of baroque style. For context, Beethoven was borderline classical/romantic). I just don’t like this version at all. I guess the only saving grace is that the link in from movement 3 to movement 4 isn’t cut off and is done how it should be. This YT channel has 2 versions of Beethoven 5 on it; just listen to both and you can clearly hear the glaring differences that ruin this version astronomically.
@@e.l.imamaco6870 LOL Clearly some do. And thanks to him i now know a better version exists on this channel (thanks). Are you always so accurate when answering your own questions?
Jarvi is an excellent conductor, but Beethoven ain't his forte - at least not in this performance. It's square, ponderous and not electrifying in the least.
Good call using Jarvi...he's a fantastic conductor.
@Benton Arjun yup, have been watching on kaldroStream for since november myself :D

Hi people, I have a question. Do u know what's the instrument who does a SOLO in the piece?
At 4:19? That's an oboe.
@@jamisonsanchez9372 It is the only instrument doing a solo into the piece'?
@@aqpforce not necessarily, but its the only cadenza in this piece

傑作すぎる
ただヤルヴィの解釈は性急すぎて好みではない。
versione forse un pò troppo "levigata"

I like all four movements. The first movement is what you might be familiar with.
Cold performance. Orchestra sounds dull and the strings are weak. Sounds like period instruments being played. Awful.
cool
Karl Lieck Amen to you! I 100% agree with you!
