I picked up a black variant of this guy a while back and to be honest he's one of my absolute top favorites out of my collection, simple and fun, makes me wish that scout class was still a thing.
I love how they were able to have this scale and still have a functioning gimmick like that that looks good in both modes. It's a great piece of engineering.
I can absolutely see this character use his Cyber Key to deliver an alpha strike of missile barrage. Such an incredible figure, wish I could've gotten a hold of one.
I just wish the arms could plug into the back of the truck cab in some way. I have the 2007 movie repaint, and the ball joints in the shoulders are loose from years of play. Because of that the back of the truck sags
Simple and clever, chunky and solid, but still articulated enough... We only recently started to get that kind of transformation back from the whole post first movie era.
I could totally see somebody retooling this as Optimus Prime, Huffer, maybe even Orion Pax. I actually had a black recolor of him but then I lost it. I'm TOTALLY gonna try to track down another one on Amazon.
I've only lost a few Cyber keys due to moving house but those I've still got I've kept in the cyber key slots of each transfomers but not far enough to activate the gimmicks.
You know TJ...the way you said that simple works reminds me of one of my dad's sayings. K.I.S.S. : Keep It Simple Stupid. Im not saying you are stupid but sometimes hasbro and takara make things too overly complicated. simple works. and sometimes really well
hasbro has make toy original character on cybertron same as energon, also RID 2001 bruticus, armorhide is by hasbro not takara. Not just armorhide, along side with shortround, wreckloose, hardtop on scout class, in deluxe class is downshift and unicron. All these character didn't appear in the show only in toy.
"We still painted our Transformers back then." OOOOHHHHH, sick burn.
hi

simplicity is a function onto its self
ah, still can't get over how incredible the leg articulation on this figure is XD
Footnote: the hook on his weapon is removable and can be adjusted so it can sit a little lower, or put it on backwards.

I still have mine from when I was a kid. One of my favorites.
Spider Alice I got this figure from a convention.
I want to get this guy because he looks like a lot of fun.

try the super glue trick! :)
I think I had like 3 of these, what Happened to them is beyond me
Makes me wonder where is his Spark Chamber housed, considering his Chest is Full of Missiles?
I think he's like Brawn and it's in his shoulder.
You have no idea how happy that just made me. :D
@@TJOmega nah, maybe the head? I mean, I'd be interesting if that were the case with a transformer.
I personally think that it's in his midsection.
I always liked this little guy. Should really pick one up.

There is a Huffee repaint of him.
It was a convention exclusive.
Along with 1 or 2 other repaints.
I was going to say this on a stream but I'll say it now.
Thanks for the Agito figure TJ
I was recently looking on ebay for this lil guy, great mold and aaah we are a fare way from the mid 2000's btw ;)
with a new head and a lick of green paint he could pass for Brawn.
CycloneMetal may be also could pass as prime maybe
0:18 I couldn't find a Cybertron Ironhide. There's just one in Armada and one in Energon (2 if you count repaints).
I have a black repaint of this guy. Got no idea what line thats from.
That would be from the Target-exclusive 2007 Movie Scouts.
Ah I see, thanks.
Same here
So do I, and it is from the transformers 2007 movie line
Thank you everyone.
I've only lost a few Cyber keys due to moving house but those I've still got I've kept in the cyber key slots of each transfomers but not far enough to activate the gimmicks.
Tiny but mighty
This would be a cool figure scaled up.
Just curious, were there a lot of Cybertron toys with a waist swivel? Bonus points if it didn't benefit the transformation.
A bit late, but yes lol
love this guy
Still a nice figure after many years
mine just broke recently I but it back in 2000 and I had it for 17 years and I loved this toy
Kj Collins But this was a figure from an 05-06 line...
Kj Collins But this was a figure from an 05-06 line...
I know I forgot what year it was from
Is power surge optimas Prime addict-worthy
What do you mean by only get through hasbro?
Ironhide and Armorhide sound like Pokemon evolutions.
I wish they had put some smokestacks on this figure so it could double as Pipes...
Basic? Is that the size of deluxe now ? I skipped this era.
People keep making that joke but it's not even close. Basics/Scout class are closer to what Legends are now but bulkier.
Isn't Armorhide actually supposed to Ironhide?
Nope
i used to have this guy but saddly he did not survive child me what he look after would made unicron spew if it was a actule cybertronian
You know TJ...the way you said that simple works reminds me of one of my dad's sayings. K.I.S.S. : Keep It Simple Stupid. Im not saying you are stupid but sometimes hasbro and takara make things too overly complicated. simple works. and sometimes really well
Damn I have that
Nice little guy. :)
Truck reminds me of aoe galvatron
are you emgo brother
It's very basic, and doesn't really do much. Besides that I really can't find anything else to say....
Mask is cool
