"Me supporting my late sisters children and now being able to own businesses and take care of themselves is an accomplishment bigger than taking building a house .❤️" Deep
That is profound.
Lynn Ngugi needs to pick up this guy for a full complete interview. I like the show but for this particular guest, the jokes needed to be set aside. I would like to feed into his knowledge. Seems like he has more to his story than what we are been given
I totally agree with you.
True, i totally agree . Kingori interrupted too mich with jokes
Had the same feeling very early in the program.
This is pure golden knowledge and it needs to be served right.
( I'd recommend Richard Njau of CTA series , Best Interviewer so far )
True let's try to reach Lynn
True, Dr. Kingori's jokes are taking too much information away.
This guy should be hosted by a more intellectual podcast....he was really exposing alot of systems....very intelligent guy.👌
Exactly my thoughts ..this host is quite unserious.
The host doesn't have the luxury of digging up the details. King'ori should know how to balance comedy and real life
Sure
I saw that too. Kingori has a little bit of limited vision on systems. Can't engage him on what need to be done to boost the earnings in kenya
It's very annoying interview, yet Karicho is very interesting.
Kenyans are just giggling, they don't and won't understand what this man is talking about, they'll have to live their own experience here in America to get it. Go Jojo, you're an incredible person. 👏🏻 ❤
He has information that only very few understand!!
@@wanjirumuthee3024 true. I have seen people saying that he is out of place with his advice. Can we please tell them we can not advise them enough because they have to come here and live the experience?
Absolutely well spoken. I've lived here in the US coming from UG & the struggle is real. One has to actually live here to understand what he's saying
True! I stopped telling people but make it clear do your own research.
Just coz they're laughing doesn't mean they are not understanding. They are just an active audience listening to two comedians.
The way this guy outshines the system even Kenyan government can't pin him down. His answers need proper analysis to understand.
I feel like, even Jeff and having being in the States can't really handle him.. he probably should sit down with Miguna or something like that..
A very intelligent man with a unique perspective about life
Am from Kenya living in US,what this guy is saying is so true here you wil make more money having yur own truck than using yur degree.more money than a member of parliament(b4 they steal anything 🤣) kujeni mtafute pesa hapa.
Nice one. Owner operator?
Wow. Am gonna look for a visa
Kingori interrupts when the juicy info is about to be revealed and we are left hanging!!!
He doesn't want it to get too depressing
This is a national TV.. Kingpri wants to keep his job.. some information has to be controlled
As a Kenyan living in the USA for over 30yrs.....all I can say is education works 4 some but not 4 others. Value education! Having goals, being PATIENT n HONEST with HARDWORK will take you far. Many pple work in factories, healthcare, business...the opportunities are endless.....there are challenges too. But the US is valuable even 4 black pple.
Agreed. Seems corporate america never worked for him
You right
Exactly his point!
Education is absolutely key..I had the privilege to study and practice in London and trust me Education is a proper asset.
Knowing thyself and thy happiness is the most ivy league of education..
I can tell one thing about this guy, HE IS A GOOD HUMAN BEING.
Jokes aside , this guy needs a serious talk show to tell people his story well n the American Dream.
He needs a better platform
I'm currently in the US army... They always try to put you down because you're doing better than them
As an engineer who is abt to travel to US recently ,I learned alot from this guy.
Take me with you😂😂
If you are and engineer dont let you been black intimidate you. U will be alone in most meetings and u will have to prove yourself as mentally u will be counted as the African what does he know. It can be lonely very few if any American black people become engineers or have a degree. Best of luck
@@u-know-this am a black Kenyan Engineer in the US and it's not that bad. Licensed in four states and celebrated in my company. YES We are few but we excel
Me tooo
For the guys who think this individual is exaggerating, ask us. Being homeless is real, working odd jobs is real, chasing money is real, everything he is saying is real. However, even with all these odds you can still make it.
It's true 💯
Hi
😲 were you homeless?
And I’m that process depression too might be real
Exactly his point!
From the dimming laughter from the crowd as he goes on to talk about philosophy, you can tell that this dude needed a more intellectual crowd. Hii iko hapa ni Ile ya ngumi mbwegze.
ukweli maze the guys is woke
Wapi likes za part 2. ....
Wadau this guy is teaching us something
Kingori was interviewing him as though trying to catch him offguard as to waver him to make him look ridiculous but he came back with class thus outsmarting kingori the joker
I feel like comedy watered down this interview big time. The guy was dropping gems
Very intelligent guy but if you bring jokes in he flows with it...He need a royal interview
Who else noticed Mutahi Kagwe's accent...Nyerians much love
I like the sincerity and honesty with this guy, he's also a genius
He's authentic ,over 20 yrs and he still didn't come with those fake accents they come back with. Na wakienda india hawarudi na accent 😊
The people who change their accent overseas do so to communicate more clearly within the culture they are in. It is no different than people moving from the village and sharpening their Kiswahili or English and loose the tribal accent and nuances. The truth of the matter is some people can do it and some people can’t no matter how much they try. This guy is obviously very intelligent but he is very hard to understand. His Kikuyu accent is so strong even for a Kenyan who lives in Kenya. There are thousands of Kenyans that are very successful in the USA and are not completely saturated with everything going wrong in their life is due to race.
It’s not ‘changing your accent’ it’s being able to be understood because people can’t understand you speaking with a thick accent from your native dialect. I live in the US and went to a so called Kenyan/kikuyu church once where some folks were joking that I don’t sound Kenyan enough like you seem to suggest now. lol
@@Yes-sl7gz you beat me to it, definitely a very intelligent guy buy the kikuyu influence is so strong even for someone in Kenya. I always wonder why Kenyans (at home) despise people who acquire the American accent. Call it fake when you live, work, worship etc with these people! You can definitely tell that this guy has lived in the US. The influence is there and sometimes it happens unconsciously/out of necessity
those complaining about the fact that this guy is not communicating well should understand that the platform is a comedy show so the interview is mixed with humour and may not be objective. I'm sure that if he's interviewed on another platform, a more objective and structured conversation will unveil the depth of his experiences and wisdom... He actually is quite intelligent and street smart
Very streetsmart
Book AND street smart
Wow. Everyone who reads Friedrich Nietzsche works has his thinking overhauled. I respect people who understand Nietzsche art. Difficult reads they are, but once you've understood philosophy, you can conquer anything thrown at you. You've won my admiration, Jojo.
Anybody else noticed this guy low key looks like Travis Scott
I started seeing this guy on Facebook lives he was back then kind of depressed but I saw something in him. 💯
King'ori was so quick to ignore every fact this guy brought to the table, because he is also a victim of the system. Media in Kenya is a control tool.
Yeah sure , poor interview
True its irritating
Right
All through. I have followed JoJo showcali's story. He is an inspiration, from when he used to be live on the streets of America. Karicho is Amazing.
My pipo my pipo
We neeed more of this guy.
This man is deep. Kingori is too shallow for him. The power of the land.
JoJo ShowCali BLESS UP! SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE AND INTELLIGENCE FROM THIS G!
Where is Lynn Ngugi, we need more from this guy
Good job, kenya unfortunately isn't an easy country to live in especially after living in the west with smooth systems. After 20 yrs in the US, I'm very happy here but still love my Kenyan holidays
I have been there 11 years and moved back to Kenya.
Kingori was just the wrong fit on asking this guy questions or didn't understand him. You can tell that he's too smart and has managed to overcome the black mentality/Kenyan mentality of praising the white man and has learned to be himself and embrace and capitalise on the system for his survival.
Say Peter Muhoho's mentality not kenyan. Speak for yourself!
This guy is my biggest inspiration currently as far as travel is concerned 🏆🏆
Just saw this guy today .. hes really a vibe 😄😄
I love this guy,he has not changed his accent.
Very few people will understand the wisdom Karicho is spewing…even Kingori didn’t understand
I feel you, they won't get it.
People are too blind when truth is spoken
@@petermuhoho3780 true
Great show. Have learnt a lot.
I really love the intelligence in this guy. He should be hosted by @citizens tv.
Best, please do part three!
We need more of this
I love how the guest stayed calm and composed throughout the interview even after King'ori tried to discredit his story n throw unnecessary jokes here and there. Alex Chamwada should interview him.
100%
Daktari was asking the wrong question because there's no true answer to "how much do I need to live in America?" The right question is "what do I need to survive, understand and take advantage of opportunities in America?" Money is the by product of the answers to this.
It was a good opportunity to learn about a person having lived in the US but on a wrong platform.Lynn Ngugi could do a more life educating interview.
It's a comedy show foe pete's sake!not Dr.Phil and MQ he's a comedian himself
Give us a break
Wangapi walikua wanataka hii interview iendelee for like 10 hours??? I was enjoying every fact from this guy
Kingori when you meet such a person be on his level and ask some questions which can guide other Kenyan who want to travel to USA sometimes know when to joke and when to be a little bit serious I agree lynn will be a kind of host who will ask some meaningful questions I can see this guy is becoming impatient with kingori silly questions.
This guy has wisdom 💯
In US you have to work really hard.
Those who take time to learn the system life becomes easier but it takes time.
I’d like to talk to him to get all those nuggets
Very wise guy, he deserves a 'woke' interviewer
I knew him doing videos in the streets of US on fb i used to find him very daring 😂😂😂
This guy is a vibe, great show
Listening to this guy, am awe with his Wisdom and he is really learned. Listen to his answers, " Homeless is a state of mind", you don't need money to survive, he's totally not into conversion. Very philosophical knows systems etc etc.
Jeff kuria please bring this man to your show . The knowledge he has needs to go around our people
Spread the word walai..
I will re- echo @Daight who makes an observation I totally agree with. The Guest had lots of philosophical, historical and social wisdom. I could relate when he talks about capitalism, land, the system. Why conversion of currencies should not be the preoccupation, his embrace of blackness.
Totally awed by his brilliance, also his placing of social science degrees as forms of resistance/ resisting a system that perpetually ' others'. I appreciate his courage as well, just have your foot in, the rest tutasort as it comes/ tukiendaga!
When he said. Dont worry how youl survive or anything else.. just get your foot there. I felt it
This man is smarter than most think. He is speaking indirectly to avoid a run-in with the system from which he feeds. Only that King’ori is lost.
I love this conversation.... 👌
This guy is too proud to answer a question directly, si utulie tu bana Na you focus on your question
Love jojo showcali the man himself inspirational! keep up!
I've learnt a lot. I've been having this theory that life is expensive In America. Many lessons learnt
Jokes aside, there is more we can learn from his experience and knowledge. He should be featured in a serious talk show...
Valuable Insights 🔥🔥🔥
a very resilient guy and a go getter, am much inspired by his story, a true depiction of hustling and not giving up.Hapo kwa he does not want to believe sb is superior than him and the repetitive statement of just get there and you shall not worry on how to take care of yourself.Brilliant
Fantastic episode.
Much Respect to jojo show cali ..hope to mee you one day..God akubless
Dr. Kingori: welcome to the show
Him: ''It depends"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
very wise words of experience
This guy is a very good speaker, all he needs is just a bigger platform to speak to people about how he navigated himself during his stay in America.
Story Kali for those of us looking forward going to US
Love your country 🤪
More and more content waiting
Jonah Should be called back for another insightful interview 👍👍👍
JOJO BigUp...I can remembered Diamond also came to church chill show some years ago, people laughed when he say he will be an international artist......look now!!!!dream are valid
Damn son. Legend. Big up Jojo
Brother is dripping with wisdom
The guy is very intelligent and well read. The host asked haphazard questions leading to a haphazard interview
Would you have done better
I just like that point "don't keep hanging around the mirror"
this guy is wise, you dont just answer questions like that.
Good motivation bro ... Wake up call to everyone who want to achieve their dreams n goals
Amazing I loved it
Part 3 plz this man 🤔💫
I can never regret moving to usa,my life has completely changed for the best, may God remember all of you wanting to move to usa,let the doors open for you all in Jesus name
Amen
I tap on this word and one day I will touch the soils of USA.
Amen
You're a True Storyteller
He's a great advocate for just do it
Intelligence is the ability to detect gold while still in its ore stage. You could have done a better job Kingori, a lot you could have learnt from this man. Being condescending is a nasty trait in any interviewer
Thank you.... I thought I was the only one who thought he was the shittiest show host in the world.
Condescending is the end of the interviewer!
Not sure about his experience in the US but if you work hard save your money and stay away from credit cards and borrowing, you will be able to make a good living. Even if you are black. I know plenty of Kenyans that have made it because they were focused and didnt waste their money on partying and living beyond their means.
I love this guy
You need to know someone...not necessarily a Kenyan per se, unless you intend to be homeless, you need to know someone. I do agree....in the US, have Kenyan friends but not living with them......depending on the state, you can live on $50k a year ( not in Cali, NY, Chicago, or major cuties)....the more $$ the confier your life
Abrupt ending, could there be season 3 of this interview ☺️🤷 ??
I just came here to browse thru but culd'nt leave till I watch finish. This man has a great way to telling story and share a lot of insight in deep stuff.
A very wise guy who got a lot of gems to share but in the wrong platform. Please Lynn Ngugi or Tuko get this guy and do a interview with him. There’s alot to learn from him!
Such an intelligent fellow this one, but coupled with a rather ignorant interview style. Why is King'ori brushing under so many of these critical points Jojo raised?? One that got me was "...You could be having a 100M here in Kenya, go live in Westlands and you will still be missing some things..because...the system". Killer point right there. All things considered, a slightly above average earner in the US and Europe with a good head is so much better off than someone earning many times over here. If you have 100M in 254, you have to wall yourself in like a prisoner. You cannot live too far from the city either in a rural, safer area since you would be too far from "emergency services", good schools and so on. Your children cannot go out safely either-it is tricky all the country over-and personal money cant solve those public issues. I totally get it and have in fact thought about these ironies for a long time. King'ori amka bwana!
It's a comedy show foe pete's sake not Dr.Phil. give us a break!!!
Don't hang around Kenya...was the best joke that night
Quite interesting ☺️ this man very smart.
I feel that he has a great story and message that many would appreciate and learn from...... it would have been more beneficial if he had a better interviewer to guide this discussion....
This guy has wisdom and not everyone can see that...you have to be woke
so true!
Thanks Kingori for the 2nd time.
This guy JoJo is very very smart upstairs and street wise
Let us request for a real interview with this guy from a serious program... he has a lot to share
Lynn Ngugi Show
Jojo with wisdom 👊👊👊
I just like this guy.
Around minute 5:10 onward, King'ori you are not listening to what Jojo is telling you. Listen. 150K dollars a year sounds great and is in fact great, but what you have to stand for it on a day to day basis may not be agreeable or even worth it in your life's long-term. Because you have only one life. If you find a job with a great atmosphere, positive leadership, respectful bosses, zero prejudice but paying half as much then that is the wiser option: but we choose differently.
Uyu jamaa mwenye hii show ni fala sana...Dr kingori
This guy should have a podcast with Kibe just talking about life issues
