I also think that an airport in Miraa growing regions would help transport it to major airports for the export market or major towns where it is consumed
I went to JKUAT for 6 years even before the new highway was constructed, when the road was still narrow, and even then, these Miraa pickups were something else on the road. I wonder if the new express lanes on the highway have made their speed easier to achieve.

There is a documentary titled "Dangerous roads in Kenya" about these Miraa guys, what they do is incredible.
