to be fair the banished don't care who joins them, they actually do canonically have some power in some human colonies so banished human weapons make sense

I've had it made for a year, but I'm gonna be weathering it here real soon and adding a couple other things so it's ready for Halloween and eventually Halo Infinites release. Turned out pretty good for my first foam costume and I'd love to give it another go since it was an enourmous learning curve to me for prop making.

You think doing it out of foam as hard tried Doing it out of 110 card Paper stock and using pepakura Designer. Design with a lot of small parts and details but I managed to build it and a looks epic.
Sadly, the magazine is too far back, the bolt doesn’t have enough room to travel. They explain it in canon with a “telescoping bolt.” This is the same with the BR and the Assault rifle. There all still cool designs though.
