Do you think the spikes on the bewilderbeast have something to control the dragons.Because when drago's bewilderbeast tries to control toothless the spikes keep moving a weird way.

Perhaps it has to do with vibrations that the spines create. They resonate at a certain frequency that activates the dragons' primal instincts to follow their alpha, perhaps?

I will note that before Hiccup and Toothless ever met the Bewilderbeast, Toothless had an adverse reaction to the Beasts pawprints. It could be a deeply ingrained survival insinct to stay away, and on that fact the Bewilderbeast egg hatching could be violent. Dragons may want to stay away for their own safety.

Did you see the trailer for season 6? If you pause quickly towards the end you will see a Bewilderbeast egg! Johann is trying to raise one after all!
hello future me what if the bewilder beast egg was taken from johann by drago and becomes the evil one or maybe johann gives it t drago or if the riders lost memory of seeing it or at that time hiccup didnt know what dragon it was so when he sees it in the seconned movie he cant remember what it was or maybe the reason why the ice was there was because the bewilder beast egg when it hatches it creates a ice hole similar to the one we see in the episode and it had already hatched and that drago was there to get his egg

That could easily be the reason as the baby dragon may not have the alpha abilities yet and could be extreamly small and need the fish (as said) to grow and maybe once acheaving a certain size and having the ice breath thats when they can become alphas and since the bewilderbeast has so many spines maybe they wouldnt have grow fully making it look different as a baby meaning that hiccup and co would not have easily made the connection.

Trader Johann gets the egg, but he can't raise it because the riders are always around, so he gives it to Vego, who raises it and give it to Drago. The pike make it grow faster than usual, so it can appear in the second movie. Or, trader Johann is the villain of the third movie with his Bewilderbeast and possibly the Nightfuries as the Bewilderbeast's entourage/guard.

It could be possible but kind of unlikely. I would really see no need for Toothless to have challenge his father in any way. If Toothless does meet him and they don't get along Toothless can just leave and have nothing to do with him.

Hello Future Me what if the egg is laid with the instinct of propelling dragons to defend its self. This is to make sure that the egg is hatched. Also this might be because they, like the eruptodon only lay one egg in their life? Also, thanks for the awesome vids. 😁

Well now that season six has passed, we know what the egg looks like!
For starters as an answer to the question, I would say my dog or people I love, but that would be cruel cause they would die to because of it, so I would say, Closure to any of my problems or worries, and even how my favourite tv shows end.
Secondly, I reckon the lens on Heather's belt for the dragon eye was given to her by Oswald, Once Chief of beserker island, because he actually knew about the bewilder beast and it being there, as it was said in the earlier seasons that Oswald was quite peaceful, so he may have had no problem with a dragon laying its egg under his island.

i think they start acting weird because the bewilderbeasts alpha affects starts kicking in very littlely as a egg and therefore messing with their senses
We have seen Krogan's belt buckle and his insignia holding his cloak together, they have Drago's symbol. What if the bewilderbeast we meet as Drago's Bewilderbeast is only a year old in the second movie. What Drago has other ways of keeping his dragon army under his control but in order to expand it, he needed something that can keep thousands of dragons under control so he asked Krogan to go find a bewilderbeast, may be trader Johann was one Drago's lieutenant years ago and then after the meeting where Drago burned everything down and killed everyone but Stoick, he got Trader Johann to go and find a bewilderbeast and now after all these years he has sent Krogan to help Johann, and as a side note check on Viggo's Dragon Trade.
The thing I would spend my last days with on an abandoned island is toothless because he could fly me out.

Since heather had the dragon eye lens, her father prolly knows it had the secret that berserker island holds.... has something to do with it, so what im guessing is that the ice gustaf saw is where the bewilder beast is growing.. since its there and heather's dad wanted to protect it, he kept the lens with heather believing she'll protect it or somethin.... but since the lens is exposed it probably has the situation of the bewilder beast and its power....
You are right there is a builder base underneath this island first I realized when I was watching that episode there was ice under there and all over the place when they were underneath the island with Gustav it's not loud and yes I already watched it where the Dragon Hunters go to Berserker Island and find the bill wilderbeast when we go hunting again

I have no idea if anyone else thought of this, but this is what I’m thinking. It sounds to me that you’re treating the second movie as it own thing, it’s own movie, separate from the series. While it is, it also isn’t. The series kind of connects them, and since I figured we never find out how Drago gets his bewildered beast egg, maybe this is where he gets it from. If there is an egg down there, what if they get the egg (trader Yohon) and trade it to someone like Drago, and that’s where he gets his bewildered beast. Otherwise it wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense that the dragon riders come across them with this bewildered beast either egg or hatchling (if this is all true) and they don’t recognize what it is in the second movie

Wonder if maybe Oswald knew or was trying to figure this out as he has the giant bewilderbeast skeleton that has become the sacred Island of Vanaheim sketched into his diary? Meaning he has been there before his death. Why was he taking a journey there once more? They did say that "Oswald apparently had many troubling questions he needed answered"

Hey there, I had an Idea about this theory.... what if the Bewilderbeast dragon from the second movie and the one from berserker island were one and the same? If Johann got the egg and was then betrayed by Krogan, then Krogan could give the egg to Drago and he could raise it, as we know they are working together from the extended flash back scene from Stoic. We saw this season that some dragons do mature very quickly when they met the death song (snarf was his name?) that they had raised from a hatching just a few months earlier fully grown. if that is the maturing rate of dragons, then two years is a long time. With the help of these fish a bewilderbeast could easily grow that big in that time. Also, if this was the case then it would tie in PERFECTLY with the second movie. Plus we have seen the villains fight with each other in the past, and with three very independent and self centered baddies working together it just seems like a disaster waiting to happen.
As to what I would want to have on a deserted island to spend my last few days, I would want a teleportation portal ray so they wouldn't have to BE my last few days! Also, why not just take the opportunity to get a free teleportation machine, come on! Then I could travel the world and spread the following of Mishka! (all hail her!) KAWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps the dragons began to develop an instinctual fear of the Bewilderbeasts eggs. Maybe the Bewilderbeast mother, after the egg is deep in the island, kept her pack with her, but if any dragon came too close to her egg she would make them leave immediately, possibly even hurting or killing the offender. Although they may be peaceful creatures, we have no clue about their maternal instincts or egg development. Because there are so few of them, the protective instinct could be increased. Maybe she only had to stay until there was enough ice or protection around the egg, or there could be a critical stage in the eggs life that it needs supervision and protection until the stage passes and she can leave. She may use mind control to forcefully keep dragons away from the egg, and because of the Bewilderbeasts influence, it could of become an instinct, or the dragons understand the vitality of the egg and the agitation the mother could feel with others near it. This has no evidence and stuff supporting it really, this is just speculation I came up with randomly, and this is assuming the mother don't leave immediately.

I think that there's a baby bewilder beast underneath Berzerker island but it's call isn't strong enough to control dragons however it still partially affects them. Although I think that a bewilder beast is unlikely to appear in season 6 because if there was a bewilder beast in season 6 that would mean NO ONE on Hiccups side would ever see it or even know about it because it is completely new to all of them in HTYYD 2. I think that the bewilder beast egg is the one Drago obtained, as you said the pike could make it grow faster but if used in combination with other foods of the same effect it might speed up the process even more...
Maybe if your theory is true the egg that Johann gets is Dragos Bewilderbeast

i kinda doubt that the wildebeast could create something to keep them away, also if this has been around since the egg was.... created then that means there might be no dragons on the island because they would have left because it made them so agitated, i think that the egg was just hidden underground with the ice as its protection (maybe the egg is hidden inside that giant ice spike?) and the reason it started agitating dragons is because... its beginning to hatch. It could be that the egg takes like idk three stages of hatching, 1Nothing, literally just a big egg shell, 2 starting to get ready to hatch, (causing nearby dragons to start feeling the power of the bewildebeast) and 3 actually hatching and, idk (wreaking havoc? terrifying random villagers?) i think the egg is in stage two and has been for a very long time, i think that in season 6 the egg will hatch, (or johann will steal it) and then hatch and blah blah blah,somehow gets free, or that might happen in 7 idk otherwise good strong theory!
