I would like to raise the whole king/president distinction and point out that the reason the founders of the country fought for freedom from a king’s rule was to avoid the tyrannical decisions of a man disconnected from reality, bent upon his own goals whatever they might regardless of any binding law or attempted check on his power. The thing is, we'd already had the english civil war by then and the powers of the king were diluted under parliament. The king couldn't 'rule' directly either at home under parliament or abroad, so really it was the British government that was responsible for British behavior and actions relative to the new world. I say 'responsible' because yes, the King was in fact meddling alot but he did it through capitol and companies, through the new capitalist mechanisms of the colonies.
So, when the Americans did get control of the political influence of the British people and reduced the corporate influence of the crown, they still left the mechanisms in place for other men to wield this kingly corporate power and they do. It's still there.

Ask Biden first, then ask Ttump & allow Ttump to repeat Biden's words in addition to new ones he thinks of. Debate & dementia debate winner is whoever can list the most words within 30 seconds.
You could even give them the question in advance if desired, with the letter they will be using, so that they can prepare for it.

Debates should be required by law. and legally be required to be entirely controlled by voters. anyone running should have to follow all rules or be legally kicked out of the pool. Date, time, questions, format, everything will be dictated to any person that wants to be considered a candidate. We need them to prove they have ideas and can use words to support them. If they can't answer questions and have a reasoned intelligent debate they have no right to be there.

For non-football fans, "home" team advantage alternates between NFC & AFC each year. Last year it was NFC. This year it is AFC. The "home" team practices at the local football team's practice facility while the "away" team (49ers) practice at the closest available field (usually a university). It's not some machavellian plot. No matter the winner, I can hardly wait afor Stephen's in-depth D&D analysis of the game. (I'd go with a half-elven rogue kicker myself).

A guy I work with asked me which team I was rooting for in the Superbowl, I said Taylor Swift, and he went apoplectic. He ranted for about 15 minutes before storming off...it was hilarious.
Personally I think football and most sports are just grown men going in circles and playing with their balls.
