- Recorded at London's Shepherds Bush Empire on the final gig of the band's 2002 sell out UK tour.
This two hour concert captures the very essence of the Ozrics live experience with a frenzied capacity crowd at London's Shepards Bush Empire. The DVD includes classics from Ozric Tentacles' vast back catalogue as well as previously unreleased material and the odd 'space-jam' where the band free themselves from the shackles of rehearsed material and let the music wander into unknown territory.

I remember seeing these dudes at the Allgood Festival in 2004, up on a Mountaintop in West Virgina well after midnight. A huge fog bank descended on the concert field and the band was ripping the hell out of life in the middle of it. the light show playing through the thick fog was spectacular. I was out of my skull on delish mushroom chocolates while all this was going on. One of the most awesome hallucinogenic experiences you could imagine.
I was there chuggin moonshine and family fluff. can NOT rember OTs set however!

Sploosh, amazing, fond memories. harpua13, I saw them on E at Brixton amazing,with Hawkwind, they were on the night better than Hawkwind. Also at One World, another beautiful experience. Coming up on Acid to them at Glastonbury. Times were better then ,for that sort of thing.
I regret some of my drug experiences, but not ones involving the Ozrics, I would love to be in that place again.
I am now drug free, but still love the Ozrics to bits. This shows them in amazing form, great upload.

Looking forward to their 2015 USA tour. My best chance is to see them at the Beachland Ballroom in CLE.
I saw Ozric at the Beachland, but it was an earlier show around 2005, and I also saw them at the Odeon during the late 90’s/early 2000’s, i had just played a gig that same night down the street at Peabody’s Downunder , so as soon as we were done playing, I rushed up to the Odeon, but I still got to see their Whole set!
I am overdue to see Ozric again, but I think their 2015 Beachland gig you mentioned above, was the last gig they played in Cleveland, so it might not happen, but eventually they’ll at least play somewhere regionally, seeing them at Nelson Ledges would be pretty dope!
Wish they would come to South Florida.

Nah, he once said he smoked lotsa weed and if you see the documentary he drinks too. That's about it, the rest is just stage presence. Which is surely better for his sanity.
I rest my case. At several points throughout the course of this half of the show, the flautists mic is completely muted. At around 19:35 he continues to talk on the mic for nothing. Even when he is audible, his mic is completely buried in the mix. What's up with that?
In John's (the flautist's) own words, it was most likely destructive 'Ed'-iting.

Yup. He's living in a flat over in the UK and playing with a band called Dream Machine. He also occasionally does gigs with Zub Zub.

+J Dubs I saw them in Colorado a couple years back and they definitely played along to some prerecorded stuff with live keys and guitars over it. I didn't have a problem with it, just noticed the same thing you did. Live DJs are guilty of much worse.
Midi synced not recorded. Some of the keyboard patterns are midi synced. Just for the record. (no pun inteded) ;)
