Alderney - Hitler's Island Fortress

Stuie, Neil & Connor fly from Southampton to Alderney with Aurigny. Based in a property which housed German officers during the war, they visit WW2 Bunkers & British Victorian era forts across the island. Using happy shopper e-bikes to witness the stunning scenery & highlights including Fort Grosnez, the Odeon & the recently cleared trenches at Battery Annes.

Battery Annes. 4 open positions for 15cm guns. Wish we had filmed more there as 100's of feet of trenches & bunkers had recently been uncovered after been buried in 1945.
