Yeah it definitely looks nice too bad we can't see it. But it would be a hell of a lot difficult to repair. So nobody is going to see it and reparability is decreased. Good job of the Apple.
@@amalshadinyou don’t repair batteries anyways though? It’s a replace and reassemble thing. There isn’t really a DIY for lithium ion batteries. And it being metal doesn’t add big to the remove replace process.
Also the 15 pro opened from both the front and the back, that actually caused durability issues with the 15 pro as it did not have anything to give the back glass structure and it could break really easily.
Issue was that metal plate on 15 series was moved to housing from back glass. So there was tiny spacing between so back glass would break alot easier, now that plate is back onto back glass like it used to be years ago.
@NicVandEmZ well it actually is a issue and been confirmed by many. Even jerryrigseveryrhing did a bend test on it and back glass cracked badly just on bending the iPhone 15 pro max. But when he did same on iPhone 14 pro max it didn't crack on the bend test. He also opened the iPhone 15 pro max and blamed that metal plate was moved from the back glass to the frame and that caused a spacing between glass and the frame which is why it cracked so easy.
The durability and quality on the 15 Pro was not good which is why I upgraded as soon as the 16 came out... I had issues with the front display camera, the front glass seals, battery and overheating issues ever since day 1. I'm glad they resolved many of these issues on the 16 series.

You will still see puffing. Hard case lipo batteries will puff (found out the hard way). It should allow for better heat dissipation, substantially better safety if exposed to a hard crash and prevent puncture, and prevent wrinkle damage during removal. It is not good lean engineering though, requiring more material instead of just incorporating a steel case with the frame of the phone.
@@muskelin not if there is a puncture. If there was a leak, there would be smoke, heat and fire in extreme cases. Lithium batteries can puff quite a bit before they leak and are almost always manufactured with creases or folds that expand to prevent over-pressurization. Is there any chance to chance the color of the 16 Pro/pro max? I genuinely love the deep purple color from the 14 model and was wondering if that was a possibility
They just made the Pro's like the regular models. The Regular 14's and 15's open from the back to access everything and had the metal plate when you take the screen off.
They also went back with putting metal/aluminum plating back on the back glass again, which they removed on iPhone 15 series and put the plate on the housing instead. No more back glass shattering/cracking as easy which it did on iPhone 15 series
I think that apple could've made the battery more easy to replace since they added a metal casing The battery could be just screwed using some screws But it looks like they used adhesive to fix the battery

If the 16 pro opens from the back, does that make screen replacements more difficult? Or more expensive?
Wow groundbreaking , one opens from the front the other from the back. Mind blowing 🤯 😂

So… is it now easier to replace your own back glass than the front screen??
How about the screws? Are they screwed yet or got simple?

I have a 12 and I’m looking into going to the 16 so it’s gonna be a big difference for me
Also in order to pull that battery out you have to use a 9v battery to charge the ports which will allow the battery to easily separate
Only on the regular 16, the Pro still uses the sticky pull tabs sadly, probably due to the metal battery cover.
They just made the Pro's like the regular models. The Regular 14's and 15's open from the back to access everything and had the metal plate when you take the screen off.
Does MagSafe still work because I'm going to get a 16 pro
I bet the internals are probably the same as the previous model but just set up differently. I doubt it performs any better than the 15.
