    One memorable review of the Talented Mr Ripley, “Phillip Seymour Hoffman eclipses everyone as Freddie Miles.”

  • @tenacious645
    @tenacious645 6 лет назад +44

    He said "My luck". No, I saw the Talented Mr. Ripley. Absolutely brilliant movie with incredible talent, and even as a side character he was STILL instrumental in making that movie as good as it was. Without him the movie would have lost a lot of what made it special. Freddie filled me with such contempt that it allowed me to suspend my damnation of Tom from the very beginning of his crimes.

    PSH was such a good actor. He may not have been the main star of a movie, but when he was on screen he was like the Sun. Everything was drawn to him, he was larger then life. He outshined everyone else.
