Be thankful that the driver wasn't hurt or killed and the rig wasn't damaged beyond repair. If that would have been the T680 or an anteater plastic rig - the deer might have landed in the cab. KENWORTH RULES!!! Leave the strip on the Pete. It's not gawdy.

With or without chrome strip on hood. The black paint is what makes those trucks so good looking. Besides it's your truck make it look the way you want and don't worry what anyone else wants unless the driver who is getting the truck doesn't want it.

Hey Justin, just recently came across your channel and I'm loving it. I watch trucking videos all the time so I'm not sure why I haven't found you before now. Great videos, your company looks amazing. I grew up around trucks, riding with my grandfather, got my CDL when I was 19, and now work for a large farm and truck shop so I get to drive once in a while but I want to have some trucks of my own. Very inspiring to watch!

swap a c12 to c15 cat,,,,,, depends on ecm for e.g 70 pin or 120pin . All you just have to do is check chassis wiring into chassis plug into ecm . Kenworth wiring diagragm c12 and c15, comes down to swapping some wires around. Lot of iron is same for bothc12 ,c15 cats e,g mounts, air intake, cooling lines, fuel lines ,,, i know with detroit you need change front engine crossmember as detroits are offset front mount etc etc

Aerodynamics and weight vs durability has been a big trade off in trucks these last 30 years or so. I hit a BIG doe at 70 MPH in my old IH Paystar 5000 with the bumper, grille guard, fenders and hood all made of steel and the bottom of the bumper being 34” off the ground and it didn’t even put a dent in the truck anywhere. It sure did make a mess though, the deer kind of just exploded for lack of a better word.

Bad time of year for deer strikes. We had four trucks running together one morning up on 17. Guys must of been driving /pushing deer ...well those four trucks hit 7 deer. MACK sold a lot of front end parts the next day. We had great luck with our C-12s before 700,000. We sold one and rebuilt the other for 40 grand. And it just wasn't the same motor. They have no piston sleeves and you almost have to machine the block.
