The Sabbat influenced the first Inquisition? I always had a feeling there were elder kindred pulling strings of the 2nd Inquisition. Even the game lore hints at this as a conspiracy theory in V5. Such good story telling. Glad this video was made even if the elder blanks are gonna be pissed!
this video is like going hunting for squirrels, firing off a shot, missing and hitting a deer in the bush you didn't know was there. Good thing, thnx for posting.
Wow ! It really sums it up. The general vampire history of the WoD, especially the dark ages part, helped me understand that age better. So thanks a lot ! :D I didn't knew about the Giovannis being targeted by a Crusade, is that only in your setting or is it a canon event ?
I belong to the Salt Lake by Night group, which has been without a storyteller for a while. I recently joined the group and decided to step up and become the storyteller. I have been a GM in the past but as far as LARPing goes I'm a bit more rusty. I would appreciate any advice you could give on storytelling. Game preparation writing the scenario of scenes etc... Perhaps a video for fellow storytellers giving advice?? Thank you
@@rahillbaghban3520 I honestly don't know. We hosted the class at our local gaming store, and they had this particular music playing at the time. I tried listening to see if I could recognize it, but unfortunately I didn't. Sorry!
Rome was run by Venture and Malkavian. Cathage was run by Brujah and Assamites. Brujah don't hold grugdes. They are inflamed by the passion of the diablerie of their antediluvian.
Ghouls would have been discussed in a later class that included the rest of the World of Darkness's supernatural creatures, but I took a break from the game and the chronicle ended not long after.
Nope, they're essentially the same thing. "Thin blood" means essentially that a vampire is so far removed from Caine that it no longer exhibits the powers or weaknesses of a bloodline. That's what Caitiff are. It's just a name to describe a group with thin blood, and the time of thin blood is generally thought to be modern times because of how many Caitiff exist.
@@rkstevenson5448 Right. A group that congregated due to being exiled or outcast. It would explain how thinbloods get shown how kindred society works if cast out or sireless. Thanks Steven for putting perspective on this very complicated subject. May the Dark Father & Dark Mother flow somewhere in your veins.
You're referring to the tabletop book, I'm presuming. This video is specifically for the Mind's Eye Theatre version of the game. Conclaves were not, as far as I recall, given any significant attention (if any at all) in the first and revised MET books.
Nice, MtG in the background.
these videos were awesome for a new player here in South Carolina thanks for your time making them

It's not the "True Sabbat" that rushed to the Ravnos Antediluvian.
It was the "True Black Hand" A.K.A the Tal'Mahe'Ra.
Abyssal86 Eh, it had been years since reading that material for me, and I was rusty. (That's me in the video.)
I freaking love flyleaf. Oh thanks for this
You're welcome!
It took me till 13 minutes in to realize he was talking about the tzimisce
TheLastSane1 You say "tzee-mee-tzee," I say "toe-mah-toe." lol

PurelexA It's in the BNS updated material for Mind's Eye Theatre. So it's canon as far as their version of the setting is concerned.

As someone who speaks a couple of Eastern European languages, the way Tzimisce is being pronounced here is... not correct.

Brujah do indeed hold grudges just like any other Cainite.
The Baali in the corner nods and raises a glass.
I wish VTM would come to console.
You forgot Ghouls

i though caitiff and thin blood are 2 separate things

Conclave has existed since the first edition of Vampire the Masquerade.
