This one probably went up after they gave up trying to get rid of them all. I forget who leaked it first, but it did get taken down. But by that point it was too late and other people had already downloaded it, and they re-uploaded and it kept spreading. They'd get taken down, but more would keep popping up. I guess SM gave up eventually

i think its because she always missed out the practice etc and doing her business while she still HAVE commitment in SNSD, and cant fully commit . Then she chose her business over SNSD. Sad tho, she couldve wait until SNSD contract is over to do her business. Look at other member branching out to their respective interests after leaving SM. I think this all will not happens if Jessica didnt met her boyfriend

There are plenty of events where some members were absent due to their individual schedules (like filming), but never was Jessica.

I love this song, SNSD was and always will be one of my favorite K-pop groups, for me they were always 9 girls who proved to be the greats in the Korean industry. The bad thing about the video is that there are cut parts (lost media) but this makes me nostalgic.

This song was supposed to be a surprise performance/the song's debut when they finallly booked the Tokyo Dome for first time. Way so many things happened on a whim.
To this day, both SM and the remaining girls have yet to release their versions of the fiasco, especially with the girls.
A leader shouldn't have accepted such drastic decisions that could've been detrimental to any of her girls well-being, so indirectly I've had my eyes on Taeyeon since 2014.
i don't think they will ever talk about it since the silence benefits them. these days taeyeon did a interview and someone asked her about what happens when the members fight and she answered: "we just gather and talk about it" and i was so upset when i read that because they obviously didn't do this with jessica. if they were just a bit more mature at that time things wouldn't have ended this way.
honestly, after she started being cold towards Jessica around 2011 was when she started to not be a good leader, but gotta say 2007 - 2010 she used to do a great job imo
Open your eyes people sooyoung was always the leader Taeyeon was only a puppet. There are videos of her controlling the movements of the members and even scolding Yuri. Even on her book Jessica talks about the lead singer being afraid and scared of the leader(sooyoung).

In my opinion I like the sound much Better with Jessica. Not sure who's fault it was when she left, really only they will ever know the real reasoning behind what happened. With that I must say you have taken a Great Fantastic kpop group and made them not Quite as Great as they used to be but can still sell albums and has a Huge Fan Following.
I remember when the song first came out and the whole time I was watching I was thinking "This must've been Jessica's part.. this was definitelyJessica's before she left". Then when this (original?) MV came out, my thoughts were confirmed! There were so many parts that seemed to be made for her - ESPECIALLY the ad-lib in the bridge! OMG

The statements by both SM and Jessica that the main reason the company and group kicked her out was Jessica's business just don't add up. 2015 was the last year SNSD was truly active. Companies plan at least a year ahead so SM and the members must have known that they were going on hiatus soon. I think something personal broke between the other 8 members and Jessica that we will never know about. The business was the final nail in the coffin.
Then she could have sued SM for breach of contract. She never did. Instead, her businesses have been sued twice for breach of contract. Her boyfriend, let's not forget, was allegedly friends with Seungri, the former Big Bang member who went to jail. And Jessica is in a Chinese group with Gillian, his ex, who he reportedly cheated on Gillian with. And no, 2017, was the last year GG was "truly active". And it makes no sense that SM would waste tons of money recording and filming an MV only to have to completely redo both of them without a legitimate reason.

Unlike 4th gen where girl groups reign over boy groups, during 2nd gen it's all about male idols. I've been Kpop fans since 1st gen (just because I'm exposed to Korean music from old drama), but back then I didn't really paid attention to female idols (I knew their title tracks but wouldn't know whose voice). However, when it came to SNSD, Jessica's voice stood out the most that I'd constantly recognize their song, and after her departure I couldn't tell that it's SNSD's song if I didn't listen carefully. She's just that impressive.
Your first statement is wrong. 2nd gen was dominated by girl groups. Male idols reign over 3rd gen group (BTS and EXO as examples). Only BigBang, SHINee, 2PM, and the 2 group bands from FNC Ent are really successful. Super Junior rarely entering top 10 Gaon Digital Chart (but their albums topped Gaon Album Chart), TVXQ was successful in Japan market, but rarely entering top 10 Gaon Digital Chart in South Korea. The rest (Teen Top, Infinite, MBLAQ, SS501, etc...) are kind of “one-hit wonder” or “mid-success” (they have more than 1 hit single of course but they only made noises at certain song).
@@neverland123xo snsd stood out in 2nd gen precisely because it was a market dominated by BG. We are not talking just about charts, we are talking about concerts, album sales, awards, etc. SNSD was recognized as a group that could put a fight with their album sales to other boy groups. Not recognizing that they were outstanding among the strong popularity of BG is taking away all they merits. :/

I love OT9, but I gotta say the choreo looks cleaner in the released version. Certain moves don't look as sharp and they don't seem as in-sync as usual. Like at 2:54 the arm movements don't match up and they seem to be all doing different versions of it.

Sica was supposed to be a dancer during trainee days, top 2 with Hyo I believe. It's just SM decided to make her a vocalist because she was capable of it. So I believe she's the better dancer in the group, it's just she had to tone it down because she got lines and high notes to do

@@lastdusk2848 i don't have enough knowledge about dancing but i can say jessica is one of the most flexible member and the way she day she is so smooth she's the counterpart of ms. hyoyeon which is more into sharp and edgy dance move maybe thats why they are the main dancers during their debut/predebut era.
