Great review as expected, Scott. I like the color and mag wheels! Very compact when folded. Crazy airshow! Thanks for the comprehensive review. More power to the pedal!
As always, Great review Scott! That's a slick little fold up and love the full suspension. Glad you had enough space between you and the Wipeout guy. That front brake seems a bit sketchy. Impressed with how it handled the sand👍
Great review as always. I am curious about the "Unlocked Throttle Speed 750W Controller" they offer too. Some have commented on about 40mph speeds. Hmm.
I really enjoyed this video, Scott. Who would have thought a 20" tire folding bike would have done so well in the sand test, I think those knobby tires must have helped. And the air show footage was just a bonus! Great job!!
That’s a good looking bike and has some nice features. Those joggers should have helped the young man that fell in front of you. Thanks for caring about him. Your review was excellent, and the Blue Angels was a bonus!🇺🇸
Ha nice, I was coincidentally on the bike path by the piers (Burnham Harbor) that same day for a work event! The Blue Angels practicing were loud, not surprised that guy fell over :D
Nice bike if you're 5'11 or less. Freesky also makes a model called the "Rocky" that is very similar to the Boulevard, except the Rocky doesn't fold. The only thing I see missing from this bike is a derailleur guard, which is weird considering, they're only a few bucks. No biggie, I guess. Note to Burchda: You need these brakes and rear hub motor on the U8. Hopefully, they will make a version 2.0. As always, thanks for the review Scott!
Appreciate the small clips of the air show. Do you have any plans to do a review on the Stella Falcon? So far, that is one of the bikes I am interested in. The other is the electric 750 xpress .
Unfortunately, Stella hasn't reached out to me yet to review any of their bikes. Lectric has finally noticed me and invited me to an event in October. We will see where that leads.
Scott, I really enjoy you reviews. I recommended your channel to my daughter, who is also a north-sider. She hits the lakefront at Montrose and also enjoys your rides and reviews. I'm riding a Addmoter trike because of balance issues and being a super senior. I'm looking to get a folding bike so I can get to some good paths. I like the looks of this bike. Do you think it would work for someone 6'-1" and 250#? Any suggestions are welcome, thanks.
Thanks for recommending my videos! Hmmmm... I have the seat pretty high at my 5'9" height. I am not sure this seat will go up high enough to fit you. This thing also launches and has a ton of torque. Not sure you would want that.
Since you did not mention it, I assume the helmet does not have MIPS, right? As for the Blue Angels, I caught their show in Chicago a few years back. The city is a spectacular venue for their show.
I am 5’3” what do you think about this bike compared to Heybike Horizon, the Horizon might be too heavy for me, but there are features I like. Love the shots of the blue Angels I miss air shows.
Decent specs... but they also say it's not meant for riders above 5'11" (I'm 6'). Thanks for the seat comment, as it does not look very comfortable. As for the brakes, they are four piston, which is a bonus on the stopping power. A couple of extra thoughts. The walk feature helps greatly (seen on other videos) that also can help to get the bike up a flight of stairs (apartment dwellers thought). There isn't a derailleur guard mentioned, nor shown at the website. You did not use the horn that I noticed (I like to hear it for loudness to know if a separate bell is needed as to not frighten pedestrians). I also did not catch any specs on the lights, not does the website have them, or even whether the tail light is integrated and does/not show breaking. I said the above, having not seen the Boulevard on other videos yet. One tip you might be able to use that I saw elsewhere, when folding and unfolding these bikes, it helps to hold the rear brake lever during the process of folding/unfolding as it helps to stabilize the bike, and makes the movements less awkward :o) Have a nice week.
They are both folding bikes... thats about where it ends. Mokwheel has the removable display, small tires so it goes farther, turn signals. The Freesky is full suspension, and more powerful. It really comes down to what you are looking for in an ebike.
@@scotthardesty The King Bull literider has similar specs to this one. It's also a foldable bike.. It's amazing how powerful these smaller bikes are getting.. Thing I like about King Bull (besides a cool brand name) is that it was a regular bicycle manufacturer and switched over to E bikes when the son took over...,, Based in California Anyway, this bike retailed for 1699. And I got it with a code for $919....no tax -free shipping 👍👍 Got to love those end of summer sales ✨✨
I guess because I'm 6'4 The seat post can only go up to a certain level where it would be a cut off. And it's too dangerous for me to raised seat post all the way up
Thank you Allan. I get it, I like cadence sensors because I have knee issues and it gives them a rest. I can still go out and explore without hurting it.
dude, that helmet looks like it should fit my head. i've purchased many and alot of them just didnt fit right. i'm suprised that the bike is affordable. i love that it is comfortable to ride without power.
@@jeromewaites5364 At the end of August, I will be doing a product review on the helmet. That will also include the 3 winners. Whomever wins, will have their @ tagged in the video and in the description. They will need to reach out via DM so I can get their info. I will send that to Dotphy and they will have you pick your helmet and send it to you.

My husband and I have been looking at the Freesky brand bikes. Thank you for this review.

Holy cow! I don't think this bike needs to go any faster!
I really enjoyed this video, Scott. Who would have thought a 20" tire folding bike would have done so well in the sand test, I think those knobby tires must have helped. And the air show footage was just a bonus! Great job!!
Glad you enjoyed it. The 4" tires and that 100Nm of torque had this thing plowing thru the sand.
Thanks, the best review for this bike I saw on whole RUclips 🤑
Also special thanks for epic airshow footage, it's fabulous!
Glad you liked it!
Thank you for the warning on the front brake, as I have gone over the handlebars before from using too much front brake.
Thanks for watching!

Red paint rocks ,love the splatter look . rough - out mag and motor finish looks good .
It is a good looking bike!
This seems like a sweet folder. Maybe even replacing the Portola as my next folder purchase. Thanks again for the detailed review Scott! ✌️
My pleasure!
Just love your reviews, very detailed, I am still undecided on which ebike I plan on purchasing.
Thank you. I know the feeling. There are a lot of great ebikes out in the world right now.
That bike is not too bad at all for the price. I love the color options. Great review as always !!!
Thanks! 👍
I really like that red color. Looks like a great bike. Thanks for the review. I really enjoy them.
Glad you like them!
AHA! My bike has that same screen and I couldn't figure out how to reset the trip odo. Thanks for demoing that!
Glad to help!
Ha nice, I was coincidentally on the bike path by the piers (Burnham Harbor) that same day for a work event! The Blue Angels practicing were loud, not surprised that guy fell over :D
I saw two more accidents on bikes that I didn't catch on film.
Another great video. Nice example of why a helmet is needed when the guy bit it in the sand.
I never home without one.

Looks like a really nice bike. Awesome that it has cruise control. Do you find the handle bar position comfortable?
I do find it comfortable. The suspension works so well you don't even think about the handlebars.
Cool little bike. Lots of features for the price.

I did not see a mips logo on it. I will be doing a full review and that's when I will go into all the specifics. But I think you are correct.
I would get the green one I think that color is the best for this particular e-bike
The green was sharp as well.

All of the bikes I review would get more range if not going thru all the testing I put them thru.
That color is stunning!
The video doesn't do it justice. The red has metallic flake in it.
@scotthardesty the more I want the same if I decide to get one. I'm still choosing what to get. Your reviews are helpful.
