    Hey there Scott,
    That may be the best bike you have reviewed for the price. That bike has a Bafang 1500watt peak motor with 100 N.M. of torque, large chain ring, wide BMX style handlebars, Samsung Battery with 21700 cells and full front and rear suspension.
    I had never seen a 20x3 in. tire ebike do that well on the sand before, must be the 100 N.M. of Torque. I know another bike you reviewed that could use that hub motor, you know the one I'm referring to with the 31.5ah battery. The Aipas F3 may not have that big of a battery but if more range is needed, they offer additional batteries at $299 and that's not bad for a UL listed Samsung battery. The batteries are not that large, you could strap 1or 2 easily enough to the rear rack if needed.
    Thank you once again for the thorough review Scott. I thought this was going to be just another folding 20 in. ebike but it has a lot to offer. Aipas put some nice features and thought into this bike using some high quality components. The only thing missing are hydraulic brakes but the bike does have 180mm rotors and seemed, at least to me, to have adequate stopping power. Not sure if this one has cruise control but for the price, I believe you get your monies worth and then some. Nice bike!
    See you in the next one Scott, now go out and have some more fun on this one.--------Take care, Steve.

      @scotthardesty from another review of this bike, it does have cruise control. The bottom button... the same one you used for the walk feature... you hold it down to set your speed. It will kick off if you add throttle. I ordered this bike Saturday, and according to the shipping information, it should be here Monday.
      Thanks for the great review! I'm excited to get my first ebike

    Another great review Scott. I been wondering how this bike was going to do. Looks like one of the best bikes that you have reviewed for this price range. Looks like Aipas has put some thought into each of the new models. I am anxious for our new model M1’s to ship. Thanks for doing very detailed reviews. I am sure it helps many people decide what is the best bike that fits their budget.

    Thanks Scott for the solid review. My wife and I have a pair of the Aipas M2 bikes and love them but it is just to tall for her. She has a hard time mounting and especially dismounting the M2. Would you recommend this bike for a good replacement with similar performance to the Aipas M2? Thanks in advance for your input.

    • @scotthardesty
      @scotthardesty  4 месяца назад +1

      If she likes the style of the M2, she might be a fan of step thru of the C1. The F3 is physically smaller than both the M2 and the C1 but feels like a full size bike. I would take a look at both those options.

    • @scotthardesty
      @scotthardesty  Месяц назад +1

      Because when they tested it, they have a very light rider, who keeps it in the PAS1, no hills, no wind, no throttle. This is how all these companies test their mileage. Since mine are real world reviews and I am over 225lbs, my mileage is going to be drastically different.

    Did it arrive in a TV box like many others have? And does it really have a Bafang motor?😊

    • @scotthardesty
      @scotthardesty  4 месяца назад +1

      I did an assmebly video with this and yes, it did show up in a TV box. I believe they do this so it will get handled better during shipping. I didn't see the wording BAFANG on the motor but it is possible to get the rear motor by Bafang that is unbranded so I cannot confirm. It does perform very well, that I can confirm.

    • @TimTowers-OU812
      @TimTowers-OU812 3 месяца назад

      So I wouldn't say it arrived in a TV Box. It does have a picture of a TV on the front but mine had at least 2 stickers on it saying what it was and the TV you are referring to says Aipas in it. And it weighs a lot more that any TV I ever got but I understand why some people would think otherwise. I like it so far and was a great price point compared to many others.

  • @Jor0716

    Looking up the motor installed in the bike, I see that it actually appears to be a 350-500 watt 55nm torque motor. Instead of the rated specs. Is that false advertising or does ebike ratings work differently somehow?

    • @scotthardesty
      @scotthardesty  2 месяца назад

      Interesting. I got my info from their website, so I don't really know. I do know there is nominal and peak. The motor might have 55nm of torque during normal operation but 100nm during peak times.

    Was thinking of getting this bike. I'm new to e.bikes and was worried about the brakes. How do you feel about these brakes compared to hydraulic brakes.

    • @scotthardesty
      @scotthardesty  4 месяца назад

      Hydraulic brakes are nicer than mechanical brakes. They feel better, they stop better. You can get this bike and always put hydraulic brakes on it. The brakes on this bike is just fine, they are not going to give out and they will stop you. Since this is a budget bike, for me, I doubt I would switch them out.

    If you look up the part number on the hub motor its says 500/750. I have my doubts on the torque. And the fenders are plastic. Good review. Are you not supposed to stop at stop signs in Chicago?

    • @scotthardesty
      @scotthardesty  4 месяца назад +1

      Hmmmm... normally if the motor says 500/750 that means its a 500w motor with 750w peak. I never even thought of looking up the part number on the hub motor. I stop at stop signs, but will also ride thru them if it is safe for me to do so. It is actually encouraged in Chicago (if it is safe) to help with the flow of traffic. Crazy I know.

      @@scotthardesty Scott, what wattage does the sticker say on the bike? Anything over 750 watt continuous (not peak) in the U.S. is not street legal as an Ebike. It’d be a moped for purposes of licensing, registration, insurance etc. California just re-affirmed the 750 watt limit in SB-1271. I am being very cautious when shopping. This manufacture (unlike Lectric) is unclear on their continuous / peak wattage on their site and in third party seller literature.
