Happy New Year to you as well my friend. You infuse your videos with a great sense of fun and pacing, for what is an emerging technology and possibly all our futures. Welldone and may your talents be spotted in 2025!
I bought the X3000 Max based on your review an I love it. Had a couple of 14:24 issues, primarily bolts that had been machine tightened and were a bugger during assembly and I had to adjust the rear derailleur (anybody reading: Park Tools have an amazing video on YT on how to do this). Other than that, it's amazing. The first time, after pedalling around for a bit, I cranked the throttle going up a hill and felt the push... Put a massive smile on my face!
@@martinh4982 glad you sorted out the problems and thanks for the Park Tools recommendation. Yeah that bike does really put a smile on your face doesn't it 🤟👍👍
Happy New Year and congrats for being the best honest reviewer on the tinternet. Purchased my Vitilan i7 pro (v3 😮) upon your verdict. Sent 3 friends to your channel and they agree. EBike channel of 2024 goes to.......... none other than ..... E-V.R.C 🎉
Kudos! 👏 I was really looking forward to this video and it didn't disappoint! Great presentation! I was surprised the Cyrusher Rumble didn't feature anywhere because it did quite well in the hill climb and as a whole. Maybe a category for best legal UK/EU spec to counter the beast category? Overall fair category winners. Wishing you every succes in 2025 and looking forward to more videos! Onwards and upwards!
@@olid512 thanks glad you enjoyed it. Yeah I nearly put the Cyrusher Rumble in the drop frame but went with the Ovia. I did also have a 'fully legal no doubts at all' category but it ended up being a bit similar to the commuter category so I just made sure the commuters were all legal 😅 have a great 2025!
Just got the evercross ek30 the other day and have loved it so far, amazing bike for the price and have been turning a lot of heads and struck up lots of conversations about it already. People can't believe the price when I tell them.
Happy new year to you and your family buddy, hope it’s an amazing one with loads more e-bikes for you to review. 😊 The only problem is the e-26 didn’t win anything 😂, but it is a bit different and wouldn’t have fitted in any of the categories. Thank you for all the hard work you do in making this one of the best bike reviewing channels around 😊
Happy New year and thanks for watching! Yeah I love the E26 and actually tried to make a category for it but it was getting too convoluted. Maybe I should have had a special mention. I suppose it's a bit of a jack of all trades and master of none - though still very good. Which is why I thought it was the best all rounder. Damn... That's the category 🤦😅
Brilliant video!! Have you reviewed the gen 4 version of eskuta bike yet? Also do you have many reviews of belt driven e bikes or bikes that you do not need to change gear on or have cvt like automatic transmission for gear changes? Hope all is well take care
I'm not sure I'll get chance to review the Eskuta V4 - I'd have to go visit their factory. I've only reviewed 2 mid drives though I have one more coming Tuesday (Engwe LE20). One was the now unavailable Way Cyber and the other is the Engwe P275 which has a mid drive as well as an automatic gear system that to be fair I didn't like very much.
@e-VRC thank you for the info and for your reply. I am in the midst of booking a test drive for the eskuta plus the company I work for has them cheaper than buying them from eskuta too. Other than that apart from something like one of the bikes from teneays, most of them have been super expensive to the point I'd be scared to take it out in case it got stolen. Many thanks once again, hope all is well, take care
to many to choose from at mim ,I've seen bike on sale at Evans cycle, it's called the Peddle pro electric hybrid bike with some decent specs it's 1099 half price have you come across this brand what's your thoughts? would really appreciate it when you get chance
The pvy z20 plus did not fall into any category? For quality-price-power I thought it would win out of some. Probably its gap should have been with the folding fat tires and stuck with the vitilan i7 pro 2, pvy turbo, don't you think? What would you highlight about it because I see that it is one of the few that, for its price, has a 1000w motor. Thanks in advance for the response. Keep it up!
Ooh now that is a good question. They're about the same price now, right? I think I prefer the hitway but it really just depends on if you want drop frame or not. I seem to remember the hitway being a bit better made. I forgave a few issues on the Pvy due to it's price but I don't remember many issues with the Hitway.
Right forget everything I said I got the bk11 mixed up with the bk6s that I reviewed. I haven't tried the bk11 so I can't really comment but if the quality is anything like the 6s it will be very good 👍

Shame about the PVY Libon ce edition, it's a great looking bike. If only the electrics hadn't let it down. Looking forward to seeing you test more light weight folding ebikes.
Would you mind recommending a good step thru that I could look at purchasing for my wife. She has a rear hub Wayfarer ebike but the performance is disappointing. We are both in our 60’s and not too fit, so even the slightest hill climb is a challenge for her, but, she has done nearly 3000 miles on her bike in the last 4 years. I need to get her something with a bit of oomph, so a hill climb is not so much as a challenge. TIA. Rgds Steve
A lightish step thru bike with oomph would be the Onesport ot-16. A bit bigger and a bit more oomph would be the Cyrusher Rumble. Then a lot bigger and heavier with lots more oomph would be the Cyrusher Ovia or Crazy bird Jumper
Why don’t you try and do a diy build :). If you know how to fit a back wheel then you would be able to do it. Andy Kirby does a 2000w kit that fits on 95% of modern bikes with a 20ah 52v battery for about 800 quid and will get nearly 40mph. I’m thinking of replacing the back wheel and electrics on my Chinese fat tire ebike with one of his kits.
@ for 799 u can’t get any better, hydraulic breaks, carbon belt and does 19-20 mph while being lightweight and having EU regulations, really interesting why that wasn’t ur best budget bike
@@vinylnutter kinda pointless. The Tesway x70 pro has a 3kwh battery so it simply wins by default. Efficiency might be a bit better but I'd have to do huge range tests at a set constant speed and I'd never get the time unfortunately.

If it were legal it would be my bike of choice silly batterys or not, mind its the same with most of the bikes being basically illegal, not your fault but the manafacturers and the stupid laws we have, 15.5mph isnt even safe, theres a law against cars going too slow and a reason for it, plus a throttle or at least a green button like on the eskuta is a must have for safer pulling aways from junctions and for hill starts.
