When doing the rounds of the foot, is it continuous or does it chain one and keep going onto the next round?
I like the look of these slippers, but having not crocheted for a while I'm a bit rusty and a .pdf of the pattern would be really nice.

I learned to knit in my 40s. 10 years ago. It Was on my safe , borring bucket list. I'm hooked. Lol no pun attended. I used to crochet as a kid. My grandmother taught me. I still have the hooks she gave me. For some reason, becides a couple basic stitches I use to finish up a knitting piece, I can't crochet right. I can't even make a granny square. Watched and followed many videos. I keep trying though. But, you can tell i used to crochet, because I can only knit continental. Which is faster.
@@ThisSouthernGirlCan sorry part 2, you're by Asheville? We used to go every summer to visit family there. Unfortunately, haven't been since the early 80s. My husband is retiring in less than 2 years and plan on moving somewhere around there. We want to stay on the east coast(family), but want to be away from hurricanes. Live in Costal. VA , we get more than our fair share of storms.

I wish there were different sizes available in the pattern. I want to make my grandma some and she can’t measure her feet. She’s a size 9-10 and she lives in a different state. I guess I’ll try it and try it on myself and try to make adjustments and hopefully it works.

When i stand while wearing these i can feel the internal string of the yarn biting into my foot. Is there a way to add a lining to prevent that?

Love this pttern but the video doesn't show you doing a chain 1 after you make the magic cirlce but your written instructions in the link says to chain 1 after you make the magic circle..does it matter if you do or don't chain 1?
It honestly really does not make that big of a difference.

This was a fun pattern to make!! I used Stitch Studio by Nicole and white Bernat blanket for the edging. The colorway is called "Dauphine", and I have to say that these are the ugliest slippers I have ever made, lmao!! It's because the colorway did not do them justice, but the slippers are cute as hell anyway!! I am reminded of that classic movie, "A Christmas Story" when the husband wins the ugliest lamp shaped like a leg, with a fishnet stocking on it, and the wife was absolutely horrified, roflmaoooo!! I hope that my friend loves her "ugly slippers" and they keep her feet warm and bring her a big smile!! Thank you for sharing this neat pattern with us!! I had no trouble at all following along with you!! Great job!! ♡♡♡♡♡

What size for girls 10 to 11
My mother in law could crochet anything. She made us all slippers for Christmas one year. She passed on 12-11-2017. I cherish those slippers, and the ones she made my husband, because he did six months later, 06-07-2018, and my son lost his best friend on 01-30-2018. He was like a son to us. This was the most horrible time we had ever went through. Both In law's in hospital from October 2017 to December 2017, the flu like to have killed both of them.

This was the best tutorial I've seen in a loooong time. It's 7/24/22 & I'm currently working on 14 afgans for my 11 grands & 3 nieces. Ages range from 13 to the youngest will be born in December. Now, thanks to you, everyone will have fuzzy slippers to go with their blanket. I've already made some of the blankets with this fuzzy yarn & they turned out beautifully. I love this yarn. I have already done several projects with it. It is so soft, cushy and warm. Right now I am making my son a warm winter robe with it. He told me to hurry up because he is freezing to death. 😂
I decided I am going to make him a pair of slippers to match. The yarn is camouflage looking so he is really liking how the robe looks. Very manly looking.
I like that the yarn is not acrylic. Lordy I can't stand that scratchy feel. Nit a fan of wool either for the same reason. That stuff is itchy as all!
The bernat blanket yarn is polyester with a soft, fluffy microfiber feel to it yawl.
I made my newest grandbaby a nice warm blanket to be swaddled in. As far as yarns for blankets, this is the warmest for the job I believe.
So if any of yawl has never tried this yarn before you'll be really happy with it. Plus it doesn't get all funky or change texture when you wash it and dry it.
This is some mighty fine yarn.

I had surgery a week a week ago, and accidently left my slippers at the hospital. My feet have been cold all week, but hopefully, I'll be able to make these and I'll have warm feet again!
