- This is a list of territories by alcohol consumption measured in litres of pure alcohol consumed per capita per year.
The video goes from territories that consume the least alcohol to those that consume the most.

@@eurovisiontszai9125 It's not really true. I wouldn't consider it a warm climate. It is the same climate as Central/Eastern Europe and Southern Scandinavia and we drink all sorts of alcohol, just like any Eastern European country. Producing wine is just "tradition" here.

@@albanianking6402 Our wine is also quite good, thus one of the reasons we drink a lot, but it's generally the people in villages that drink a lot cuz they got big vineyards. (Example: My grandparent has a vineyard and his drunk friends visit him a lot to drink his wine.)

I must say that I'm surprised if the Nordic countries (especially Norway and Sweden) are really that far down the list. When you include their homemade moonshine they must be closer to the top.
I'm surprised because in my country, Spain, you can find like 2 pubs and a restaurant per street, and almost everyone drinks beer or wine

I was surprised to see Italy amongst the first to appear in Europe. I thought they were drinking lots of wine
I think Italians drink as more of a social thing rather than drinking their sorrows away thing.
Since Saudi Arabia is so low on the list I assume this means consumption of legally aquired alcohol
I am from Bulgaria, which is at number 9. We do not drink and party that much.
I will give you more evidence why the opposite is true after I return from the binge drinking party I am going to.
Not surprising, in Europe we produce some of the best wines, beers and liquors. I'm surprised that my French neighbor in the south consume more than my country Belgium :D Probably because beers have a much lower alcohol content than wines.
