MAN V4 MORES ARE MY FAVS EVER FOR MAX CUSHION I GO TO IT EVERY LONG RUN AND RECOVER DAYS..LOVE IT I HAVE 250 MILES only wear really is middle mid foot where I land but not much STRONG NO MUSH STILL HAS ENERGY RETURN..
I bought these just before i saw your video. They are sharp looking and extremely comforrable and bouncy. A little pricey depending on the color you choose, but i think well worth the money.
I had v3 and really liked the shoe. Very soft, but pure pleasure for long miles on tarmac. I had major problems running on roads because of joint pain (O-wired legs) and the NB Fresh Foam More v3 brought me "back on the streets". Looks a bit silly though, but hey, it's running and not a model contest, even if "quite close" in some scenarios 😂
Lol. Thanks. Even I am having joint pain. Have a low arch. NB team recommended this to me over 860 because I usually walk or stand and not run. Will this work for me??
Really like the V4 for recovery and longruns when the legs are bit tired. I think it gets the bounciest when heelstriking. The outsole works well for me even on lihht trails. Plus this shoe gets better with time midsolewise.
I ran over 600 km in the V3. It’s now my daily walking, working shoe even for recovery. I ran a couple of marathons in the V3.. I have a Hoka Clifton 9 now..but the V4 looks very appealing!
Thanks another great review and a shoe I want to buy, great to hear they feel stable on roads and compacted paths. Off to search the internet for a deal on some wide fits. Have fun around the rock.
My go to shoe for long runs, like the low drop and flexy but very cushy sole. Would use them more if they were not so narrow fit in the standard version. Something to consider if you have wider feet. I was a hardcore racing flat/barefoot shoe runner until some back problems made me impulse buy those, now I'm a born again runner with more perspective :)
Great review. I do enjoy my More v4s. They are heavy and a bit clunky but great for recovery and easy day runs. They have a nice rocker and keep the legs turning over.
I love this shoe. It's great for those of us that used to love Hoka's. Think of this as the Hoka's before they made them so stiff and less cushioned. I love the trail version even more. I can run great distances in this shoe without my feet feeling beaten to death.
Exactly. I've left Hoka to run in Puma's Nitro foam shoes. Can buy the More v4 for 60% of the price of the MagMax so seemed to good to pass over. Hoka has lost the plot & I was a massive fanboi..
These look really nice, I had recently bought the asics nimbus 25 - i really dont like them at all. Feel really heavy on my feet and not comfortable.. will try these
Started biking about 7 months ago and started running about 4 months ago, i absolutely love being outside and pushing myself further and harder at 33 years old i feel absolutely fantastic in my health now!, ive gone full carnivore too, i drink lots of water and electrolytes, take my vitamins & fish oils daily, no smoking & no drinking, the weight is falling off me, my stamina, speed and recovery is unreal, i decided to get more serious about running and kit myself out like a professional 😂, watched this video and you sold me on these, just bought a pair on new balance website £74.50 all in delivered!, hopfully be here tomorrow can't wait, new subscriber here loved the video! 🥩🏃♂️💪🏻🚵♀️
I have the V3 trail and love them. Strictly for work, walking around 12-15 miles per day. I finally found the all black V3 trail from NB website and when they arrived they were definitely smaller and more narrow then my others which I found strange. I have 3 pair of the more V3 trail and thought the black would be the same but turned out they was more narrow. Unless I just got an “off pair” so I’m looking at the black/white V4 - I just wish they was all black
I went to the local shoe shop today and the plan was to buy the V4. It is ridiculously soft! Never tried anything like it. And surprisingly wide on the foot. I had the exact same feeling when it comes to the volume and depth on the midfoot. My second choice was Novablast 3 but my size was sadly sold out. Tried the Nimbus 25 and it is a very different shoe that felt much more firm. Actually my favorite shoe was triumph 21. It felt like the perfect shoe. Balanced soft, stabile and very comfy. And a good geometry. I`m a tall and heavy runner ( 2m/95kg) My worry is that I will flatten this shoe out in a short period of time cause it is sooo soft. Any experiences on that? I'm considering bying the Trail V3 instead and using on the roads this winter.
It’s strange I had the complete opposite experience from you with theses Because I don’t sink into the foam it feels firm to run in and because I don’t sink into the foam I don’t bonce out of it and feel energy return I have the sc trainer v1 and I love it because it feels soft and because it has lots of energy return It must be are biomechanics or something Although most people would probably agree with you saying the more v4 is soft .. feels soft to the hand and to walk in it just doesn’t feel soft to me running in it .
I had the same experience in the beginning. No after about 150k they feel gret. Maybe it also has to do with what pace you are running at. Think they feel softer at slow pace.
I would have to agree with you on the VIA OLYMPUS, it was pretty bad! I ran in my pair once and never wanted to run in them again! Thanks for watching 👍
Same. I did exactly ONE 40 minute bip in mine & consigned them to the role of gardening shoe. Awful midsole. Makes my old knees hurt. Worst shoe I've ever bought. Easily.
Yes. Own multiple pairs for work as well as multiple pairs of 1080s. New balance running shoes are great work shoes for older people who are on their feet all day.
I have 12 miles on mine, usual size, and finding the toe box too narrow laterally, pinching my little toe. Wonder if it is due to the midsole wrapping up over the upper 🤔
I agree that this shoe does not feel as heavy as it looks but the foam is a bit too dead for my liking.. its eva after all. I much prefer something based on pebax (with a plate) ... the fit is not bad but i have to tighten the laces quite a lot to get a good lockdown .. imho, its an okay shoe for slow runs but it feels like a old school shoe, except the highstack .. for a 10k, it felt surprisingly similar to me to something like the mach 5 .. another EVA shoe .. i would recommend neither personally, there are better options nowadays, more protective and bouncier .. I think it will make a nice walking shoe at least
I really didn’t like these at all and oddly the midsole to me fails miserably .Ilove max cushioned shoes as I’m constantly on my feet daily but I found the fresh foam more v4 big, clunky and uncomfortably underpronation inducing to me. While it’s soft it isn’t springy enough leading it to feeling a bit dead .I loved my hoka Clifton 8’s which felt slightly softer and recently I’m wearing ASICS noosa tri15’s which I also feel are softer, bouncier and obviously lighter. sadly tho new balance felt really disappointing to me .Ive ordered some new balance fuel cell rebel v3 on order which I’ve heard great things about and I hope are better than the more v4.
It really depends on what time you want yo run. If you're just out to cover the distance and have a good day then yes 👍 I've you're going to be pushing hard to run a quick time then probably not the shoe for that. Hope this helps and thanks for watching the channel 🙏
@@Run4Adventure thank you for your answer! I bought the shoes online, try them on, and I was like mmmhhh.... Very comfy, super bouncy, but I couldn't see my self (my feet) in it for long distance. Great video, and thanks for confirming and reply :)
It sounds like the shoe is to narrow for your footshape. Because your sunk down into the midsole, if your footshape is to wide for the shoe it can cause blisters on your instep 🤔 Sorry to hear they didn't work for you. Thanks for watching 🙏
Same Problem for me, have big blisters on instep. I love these shoes. Had a knee surgery and in these i can run without knee pain. I use Vaseline and its gettin‘ better 😊
The same thing happens to me but only on my right foot, I don't know what's the cause, on the left side I don't feel any discomfort, I've only run 10k and I got a blister.😢

They are not good. Hurt my feet on the bottom. Also sole are very unstable and seems to make you walk on outer soles. I bought them per one of these online previews. Disappointed and caused my toes to hurt. Maybe they were paid to give positive reviews
Just wasted my money on a pair of new balance. Too small. Sizings are awful. Selling on eBay to buy another brand. Wouldn't waste my money on new balance again.

Hehe same as you, not a fan, but like some other shoes/foams (adidas notably), the foam seems to soften as you add miles
