When practicing your runs on changing vowels, is it okay to stick with one vowel for the entirety of the exercise?
You can, and that is a really good way to get started if you're having difficulties. Eventually though, it would be advantageous to work the vowel changes in. Consider how rudimentary these exercises are compared the vowel changes in even the most basic song!
