That Trabant never went that fast in its original life. A regular car was maybe 40-70 hp, these were 25 or what? Holds up reasonably well, but I would never go on a road trip without a hammer and a screwdriver (complete toolkit to repair whatever goes wrong).

He did say the speedo isn't 100% accurate 😀 it sits happily at 50mph/80kmh 😊 considering it having 26hp from new, the acceleration was not much different to other cars with similar power figures at the time. Classic mini's for example had 34 if a 998cc 😅
