I listened to this music when I was in my mother's tummy, I was born in 1961, came out jiving to this music. My mother & father were born in 1923 a month apart.
I love this so much! I was born in 2005 but I love 40s-60s music so much it makes me happy, I was happy to learn these sisters are still kicking it today in 2024 ❤ for all the oldies that see this I love you and your generation 🥺🥺
Rob hegberg and the card I have to return the receipt right away you can send it to you if you want e or so if you want to go for it to you and your mom can come over and get you something to eat it up for you and I will be fine with it tomorrow and I will not be able and I will be fine with it tomorrow and let me know when you get back to work tomorrow and I will be there in a few minutes and I'll be up there in a little bit of time

Robbie Hagberg do it tomorrow morning and then go to the store for a little bit of a cloquet or something else to get a new one for the money for the money I have not received it yet and it was a night 😔 I think you can get the car and I will be able to do it for you to do it tomorrow and I can go to work tomorrow if you want it to you and I will be fine with it and I can go back to work tomorrow and I can go with you and I can go back to work and I can go to the store and then go back to the store and get it tomorrow and I can go with you and I can go to the church Lakeview drive from the church if you can 🥫 me up you you think it would be okay with me being
When at Empire Health Services as the Special Events Coordinator, I had the privilege of coordinating the annual Employee Recognition Event. I put together a great musical group with the name of SOUND THERAPY. They performed their rendition of this 40's classic and named it "The Boogie Woogie Boys & Girls of Company 'E'"! It was FABULOUS‼️
@@lisam.glennon2252 I said it was lip sync I didn't say they didn't lip sync to their own singing! You can tell by watching them that it's lip sync and the distances away from the microphone. It doesn't have a boom microphone over top of them so that seals the deal in my mind. I'm not trying to take any credit away from them from being talented although they are not any made for The Andrews Sisters in my opinion but this performance is not live I can guarantee you that much
As much as I love the Andrews Sisters this version is incredible! The harmony is far beyond compare to anyone, anywhere, any time. What talent and hard work.
To think a song sounding like this was from 1941 is incredible. Forget the 50's and Chuck Berry, this is what gave rise to rock and roll. For a start it's 12 bar blues but secondly... it's very VERY fast as well. It's just amazing.
I m 76. Every Sun night would watch Welk show. I m Janet age I believe...the youngest. Grew up with them. Then later years, lived in Midwest. There's town called Branson wher lots of entertainers go in ther latr yrs. Saw the entire Lennon Sisters with some of their kids evn gr kids. I actually shed a tear. They wer wonderful. That might hav bn 90s ? Andy Williams was ther and was it Dion too ? It's a mini Vegas and beautiful treed country.
This song is a classic when iwas in high school we had do wear satin hot pants and top hats in advanced girls choir and sing and dance this song performing in front of the whole entire Fresno High School ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊fond memories of the important part of why this song is iconic because even teachers who taught music 🎶 love it 😍 love 💕 ❤😊😊
What’s really impressive about this performance that might get missed is that they are doing this song at 25ish BPM faster than the Andrews Sisters originally did it. I think they could slow it down a tad because some of the lyrics get a tiny bit blurred at this speed but it’s still super impressive
Their ancestry was a mixture of Mexican, Spanish, German, and Irish. Isabelle's maternal grandfather, Pablo Alvarez (1857-1905), was born in Santa Ana, California, and her maternal grandmother, Margarita Camacho (1864-1938), was from Wilmington, California. Pablo's great-great-great-grandfather, Bernardo Salgado De Oliberos, was born in San Andrés, Spain. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lennon_Sisters

I love the music from those years🎉
Wow! Absolute perfection! 3 minutes that filled my heart with joy!
I hate to be a downer but this is lip sync
@@ClownWhisperand you know this how? Not to be a downer but the Lennon Sister’s had a harmony all their own.

Awesome performance, thank you so much for posting.
A good rendition and the uniforms look authentic.
We have been fortunate to enjoy them since they were kids. What a great journey.
Love that! Thank you, girls!!

Here is a most excellent version as well. ruclips.net/video/1tVCktDDCbk/видео.html
Obviously you've never heard Bette Midler's version of this. The 2016 Remaster is the one to listen to.
Amazing. They haven't lost a step - or a note.
I was born 25 years too late. I love this music.

а может это Свинг?
I totally agree with you. If you listen to this song, and Johnny B Goode, you can see how one thing led to the other
As a boy I had a mad crush on Janet the youngest Lennon Sister ❤!
Me too! She is still my favorite. I have a cousin who resembles her a lot. Needless to say, she is my favorite cousin!
My father was soldier in the German Wehrmacht and a fan of the ANDREWS SISTERS.
Mimi is the youngest 😊
Ok, bro😅!
...but the youngest one was Mimmi
Thanks,wonderful Singing, *& ACT.!
What ever happened to the Lennon sisters? I grew up listening to them; but I never knew why they quit singing.
They are still active. Look them up.

These are the older sisters of Kip Lennon who sang thr Buk Rogers song for the pilot of the 1980s TV series.
Ofcourse the Ladies are Lovely and Songs are too, But too many hearts where broken and so on... On that War...
We’re the last generation that respects the wW2 era. The young kids could care less😊
Its because they have never heard it. Its been thrown on the heap of junk by time. It needs to come back.
Never coming back as much as we listen to the flapper era music

Wow, they did a great job! But the best imitators of the Andrew sisters was Bette Midler and her girls
Nice job, but Andrew's sisters were more wild and raucous.
