I’m ordering that shirt and I’m not lying. Just mentioned it to Tabitha earlier. I would say best album ever but I think I like Primordial Pus slightly more not cuz it’s better but because of the connection I have to it and Earthly Delights. Which may not be the best Lightning Bolt album but is my favorite Lightning Bolt album. Sorry to ramble… god damn I love Black Ous and Lightning Bolt!!! But meet me in that other place though… see. You contradict yourself as you try to justify your fave album 😂 all Pus songs ooze greatness

How do you decide what Black Pus material is actually good enough to go on a record and which lives on only in these videos? Or is this just what you do all the time and it getting onto new records is just kind of a happy accident?
i have a new album coming on the Thrill Jockey label and that one i went into a real studio to record, so that was an easy choice as to what material went on it and what format it would come out in. i treat the videos as their own thing, not really thinking about albums, but i might try to go through the home recorded tape recordings of these same songs and make an album for bandcamp, something like a "best of youtube" record .
