    That showed the Pendolino or whatever it was! It was slowing to a stop, but even so! Thanks for the thrills.

    Nice to see a cab-ride that isn't a rip of Don Coffey or Ben Elias! Liked and Sub'd.

    I assume this was a light engine because the acceleration through Crew station was incredible.

    Interesting section of the West Coast Main Line. I could only wish that it was being filmed from a steam locomotive rather than a diesel, but one man’s meat is another man’s poison!!

    • @RailMart
      @RailMart  3 года назад +4

      No. It was at 75 mph. Which is the maximum permitted speed for a loco on its own.

    very unusual for a 47 to pass Winwick without a gaggle of Togs on the Bridge, you must have sneaked through ....lol :D

    It was striking that in half an hour traveling north on such a major route we didn't encounter a single southbound train. (Except for the oil train parked in the loop.) Is this normal?

    • @RailMart
      @RailMart  3 года назад +2

      6:08 Hello Geoff. Southbund Pendolino. Also the oil train was actually cement.

      @@RailMart Thanks. But even so, just one (moving) train on the Up? Curious....

    Looks just like OHIO except no electric wire choo choo. Just LOUD diesels that I can hear for many miles...
