Gotta hand it to you Captain for the 'never quit attitude' ! I knew you were stuck and the Skiddy was not going to do the job, but fixing the hoses unassisted (except for rides) and getting the 140 to do the heavy lifting was ingenious!
You found the house with the Meth Lab!
😂
lol....my property is on a road just like this and I promise you....all that traffic and back and forth is a dead giveaway to what is going on. Usually the traffic picks up on a friday afternoon and it is obvious the cars clearly dont "fit" the area. Plus, they all are there for like 5 mins, then gone. The real fun starts when you're outside working and you see 6 blacked out Tahoes roll up, converge at the entrance of the road, then drag race in unison down the road and up the hill to Meth HQ. Bracelets for Everybody!!!! Hahaha...
I'll bet I wasn't the only one rocking back and forth in my chair watching you try to get the Mack unstuck, we've all been there!
You Sir, We’re not. There was at least two of us
Hahaha, I appreciate the help!
I lived in Indiana for almost 25 years and had never heard of Derby. (I suppose that's probably not TOO surprising) I enjoy your sarcasm and quips. I also enjoyed the sped up sound of the truck turning around and running through a few gears. It sounded like a go-kart...or something...
😀
Hey appreciate ya watching!
About 80% of my deliveries with wide load's were in the field. So, I started running wide tires on the front because of engine weight and that's the first place that would get me stuck. 41 yrs of trucking, I hardly got stuck in my truck's after that. With wide front tires on the hwy, they gave me better control on steering too.
Man I was just talking to Mike about that this morning. The duals always stay on top, it's the narrow steer that sinks and causes problems. Hopefully I can convince him in some floats
Floatation tires on the front would help tremendously. Like on the front of concrete trucks.
I hope you know that even if someone donated the tires, your going to have to put them on.
I love the Mack in fast-forward...it sounds wicked-smart
Got to see the new haul truck two months before seeing it on dirt perfect channel.
Go to dp channel go to play list go down to trucking n you will c bubba dumper aka haul truck
"Haul till we get stuck." Congrats! Mission completed! 🤣 And, once again, you showed incomparable expertise in getting out of a mess! 👏
Lol thanks!
Mr Perfects precarious pyramid of pottery pipes piled precipitously on the pavement, perchance to plummet, permanently preventing pre-planned pipe laying. 🤪
Good one 👍
Pipe laying could be altered to pipe placement?? Lmao! funny as is!! Great job!!
Side note. I would have thought DP would have used some of those cement blocks on the end of each row so they wouldn't have run the risk of rolling out destacking the whole pile anchoring down the end rows
Very nice
Great job loading the clay pipes Mike
It’s always good when people stop to help. That’s a community that cares. Great video.
Definitely!
In the 80's I came upon a weight limit bridge that concerned me so I walked across and down to the waters edge,of the 3 wooden pilings supporting the middle, the center and my side were rotted completely thru and the 1 on the far side was almost gone.. I carefully walked back across the far lane thinking I'll just allow someone else to have that fun and I found a better road
Yup, definitely smart to always visually inspect yourself
Loved how the air brakes hissed after the hitch hit haha
Haha…it looks like Mr. DP did buy the Volvo Haul Truck at that auction… Hopefully it was the one with the straight pipe exhaust. That truck sounded good. Lol. Thanks for the sneak peek!
The happenstance of this video is extremely entertaining. The supper fast forward with sound with the truck running was hilarious.
That bulldog Mack truck sounds awesome
💪
Guaranteed a Laugh or Ten on every Video & for that, Thank You Kindly Sir. Appreciate You Having us Along, Catch You On The next One. Keep It Safe Out There
Appreciate ya watching!
Ah, my second viewing. I'd like to think I have some of your cool when you find yourself in "sticky" situations. I've been stuck (a variety of vehicles) and managed to get out. The worse it is the less it seems to bother me. But your are the "KING" of cool.
Appreciate the kind words!
The word for the day is “persevere”. Good job sir.
Thank you Terry!
Between all your jobs you do try and make the best of the situation.definitely never a dull moment.as always gotta do what you gotta do.good video 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Appreciate ya watching Tom!
I almost spit out my drink on the googly eye! Still laughing on that one! Glad you can keep a sense of humor on a day like that! Our hearts are with you, the struggle is real!
Hey I appreciate that!
I KNEW you forgot the googly eye when you popped the hood at the intersection! LOL something I would do
Lol
"Googly eyes, and playing with my hose(s)"......I just found the #tagline for your channel!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol
When it rains it pours. good job.
I love the IFTA stickers still on the dash😂
That way we can move them from truck to truck. 😂😂
@@CaptainKleeman lol
And I thought I was behind putting mine on a couple weeks ago
That saved bumper made the Mack go pssssss.
😂😂
Two days two loads. Some days would've been better off staying home. Lol God bless
Yeah moving forward with the RUclips yacht 👍
Some days you're the bug and some days you're the windshield. On the days I'm the bug, I try to remember how many days I was fortunate enough to be the windshield. Loved the video. Stay safe brother.
Exactly! Life is good!
Mike i just got home from having surgery in my hand . And after getting settled in i had to watch this . A heavy piece of steel channel fell on my had last year . Anyway hard to type with just my left hand .. I know it will be, just fine .
Hope you're healing up okay!
@@CaptainKleeman thanks it will be fine just fine. Lol
So I was watching Dirt's live the other night when he mentioned you having a tough time. I went for the obvious and figured that you had more breakage. I was quite wrong! Well Bud, you always go for the GOLD!
Thanks for sharing 👍
Appreciate ya watching!
Cool, calm and collected = Captain Kleeman. No matter the situation you always handle it with a positive attitude and great sense of humor.
Appreciate ya watching!
It’ll be fine.
It’ll be fine..
Shakes his head.
Funny when you do it too!
Lol
Thanks for sharing your adventures in the “not mud?”, entertaining as always. I thought I would never see you hauling clay again, glad Mike is a forgiving type, especially after he took in a few loads it appears. Going to have to go back and rewatch the clay clean up video and estimate if there was any additional breakage. I’m always loosing keys myself. I got a lanyard with a carabiner wannabe and put my keys on individual rings that I remove from that as needed. My only exception is my home key, put a recoil on that individual key and that is attached to the lanyard. When I was working I had a separate key ring just for my work keys. Was very easy at retirement, here’s the keys, see ya. Wishing you and your family the best.
Appreciate ya always stoping by Tom!
The next time you get stuck in the puppy dog press the brakes on & off as you're spinning. It makes the wheels alternate spinning from side-to-side causing a crow-hopping action.
Murphy got ya good, he always will if ya let your guard down, ask me i know. Blessings brother
New addition in "The Book of Famous Last Words".
"Do you ever do something to cut time, and it ends up adding a whole bunch of time?"
After you said that, I'm guessing you could not hear me screaming at you/my lap-top screen, "Don't do it Mike! MIKE, DON'T DO IT!".........
😂😂 happens every time
Me,and my 2 cents? I'd have wrapped chains around the drive wheels, to add more traction but there again, I'd used to drive a low loader at age 20, doing tank recovery in Germany.
In the high speed video, the Mack Truck sounds like a sports car.
Lol
Lovin the works T shirt there Capt 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Wow, What a great video you got out of a corn field. I know it was not great for you, but you had an abundance of content. Thanks for all that hard work, you are great !
Appreciate ya watching Andy!
Hi from the uk - when I was on a Royal Navy transport unit (anything from aircraft to motorbikes) I was taught to NEVER tie down the miscrient load via the fuselage/body, always tie down the tyres. The body will bounce on its shocks/springs loosening the tie downs. When we had an aircraft down in a farmers field they would create holy hell until I mentioned ‘compensation’ then it was ‘fill your boots’ so happy ploughing.
Depends
some awesome trucking video mate, really cool to watch. wouldn't say you are stuck just yet XD, great line.
Thanks Marcus
Gotta love getting stuck and great video buddy 👍
Appreciate ya watching!
I use to run out in the field hauling grain I used tire chains they work in mud and snow it's better than being stuck
The power steering line failure couldn’t have come at a worse time….argh! As usual tho…you seems to roll with any obstacles in fall in front of you. Calm, cool, and collective solutions to get the job done. Really digging’ your channel Cap! 👊🏻
Hey appreciate that! Thanks for watching
Yes he really adds Mellow to the group hangs out with. Yanking rope lol! Did not spell it right. Voice texting stinks
Hey captain I knew you were going to leave that google eye in there 😂😂😂.
Lol
One trick when you can't get traction in a skid steer roll the bucket down jam it in the ground and roll the bucket up while backing up will usually get you a few feet
Yeah, but it also creates big divots where you curl the bucket which you then in turn are dragging the truck through.
In every day a little rain must fall.
Yup 💪
Wow! You have amazing patience and perseverance.
💪
Well, that looked easy. Just another day in the life of Kaptain Kleeman. 💪
💪
Congrats Mike on getting the Mack out of the field. I did found myself rocking back and forward too. nice save. lv the video.
Lol I appreciate the help!
Murphy sure loved you that day. Trying to save time and then problems cost you time. My grandfather used to say when that happened, " the faster you go the behind you get". Good luck stay safe.
Lol I like that
Always good to be able to get yourself out of trouble!!!!!!!!!!
Yup!
Nice job Mike 👏 Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks Frank!
Nice job getting the truck out
Thanks Charles!
You need a Matt’s Recovery Rope!
Kinetic Energy!
Chains are no good!
Need my mailing address?
PROFESSIONAL! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Entertainment that is! Mike, I thought you would have haul the pickup back, then return with a full load of pipe before hauling the 140 out!
Hauling pipe wasn't the goal anymore
I bet DP told you that he could drive it out of the mud no problem. Cuz he is perfect
Nah, he apologized for the trouble and thanked me for working. He's a good part time boss.
A set of chains can be a real time and equipment saver.you got it done the hard way.
Chains are time consuming and a pain in yh butt to install once you're stuck
Hi Captain yes you are correct take this from someone who has mudded it more times than I would like to admit they are messy to install in the field. However they do work well. You would have spent maybe 1 hour installing them and driven the truck out without wasting the day and another 1/2 hour removing them. Now I put them on before entering the field and usually do not need them. But when I do need them the time saved more than makes up for the hook up and removal time.P.S. I am now past the age of needing it done fast and usually just let the young guys like yourself do the heavy lifting. The chains for tandems are not light.
Have a great day and just maybe chain up first next time. 😉
What a couple days for you … maybe dirt perfect will invest in a 6 wheel drive tractor for you winter excursions!
Maybe!
I laughed way too hard when you backed into the mack...
Lol
Dude... I live on a dead-end road too. I'm amazed how much traffic comes in, turns around and drives out. I think people just like wandering around aimlessly.
I think you're right.
Primitive traction control --Add an regulated air supply (like a tag axle valve) to feed just enough air to drive axles to prevent tire spin, gently increase pressure and torque will change from mud to brake drums, I've used this similar method with a Mack tri-axle, they had the trailer brake connected to the drive axles but I had to guess how much brake I was applying And Yes It Does Work!
I did similar with a 1970 Ford Econoline van, but using the hand-lever for the parking brake. After I backed into an uphill parking space, I realized that the right wheels were on ice. Just got the right rear spinning a bit and when the parking brake lever was pulled the spinning wheel grabbed the brake shoes and locked up that wheel. With some feathering of the parking brake lever, I walked it right out.

Another Adventure with the Captain!! Glad you made it out, I have been there and not had the equipment to get it out myself.
It happens 💪
Love the googly eye 👀
Lol
If that was Mike's idea to drive out into that field it was definitely a setup! :D
Made for a fun video though.
Enjoyed this video Captain
Thank Doug!
Random oversized googly eye... yup, something you expect to find in your toolbox... bonus - it has a magnet on the back.
I mean who isn't carrying one around
When things aren't going good a great attitude and perseverance goes a long way. You show that and that's why I like you channel. Stay safe
Thanks Bruce!
My day today felt like your video. Just one thing after another. They can't all be good days. Got to have some bad days to make the good days even better.
Lol, that's right!
Captain you had lots of time at the end to measure the shim height, you didn’t lose your key😂 Great video, you had us laughing a lot. You dug in and got it done!! Off to the yacht 🤗👍🇺🇸
Thanks Max!
we all have those days. except me and you have the same luck. lol
Lol
We found lots of uses for old fire hose. I'm glad the fire department made it available.
Ahh the foreshadowing... that was freaking awesome!! CLONK!!! I have been there, done that and won the tee shirt for it!!!
Great video Mike
Thanks Kevin
I would straight those air fins on the bottom of the radiator oil cooler. They looks bend over restricting air flow and are full of dirt.
Been like that for a while. No worries here. Appreciate ya watching!
Look at it this way your bad day is content for Mr Dirt Perfect. I'M sure MBTS will take up for ya. lol!! Good video
Bad day? Nah, that's still a good day in my book.
Great job truck drivers forget about the old tug track anymore
Better to blow a power steering hose in a field somewhere than on an interstate doing 65 with traffic on both sides. Yes I always leave my trailer hitch on.
I like the leaving the hitch in trick saved my bumper and tailgate a couple of times
It works! Lol
Lucky break now you can say you were about to get out when the line blew
Lol
I was ready to see some dirt flying, see you on the next one Capt.
💪
That's funny, A busy three house road!! My grandfather lived on a road like that, one of the neighbours came and went quite a bit and my grandfather used to say "that guy must make twelve trips to the market for a dozen eggs!"
😂😂 I like that
That oil cooler is taking a serious beating
It's been that way for a while. Not sure why they mount it in such a vulnerable position
Yep that mud will get you every time, but luck was on your side good job .
💪
Leave the truck in low gear and push it out then hop in and take control ... sketchy AF but it's worked for me 😂
Terrible idea. Good way to get killed.
@@CaptainKleeman works for heavy equipment too ... don't always have another guy handy... again not saying it's great but the situation isn't great either. Glad you got it out
Did you notice a googly eye power reduction. Lol God bless
How did we know you would leave the 👁 in the air filter 🤣👍
😂😂
Somehow I just knew you were going to leave the googly eye in the air inlet. That's because I've done the same thing, leaving a plastic bag on the air inlet.
Lol. It happens
Love the adventure. To bad the pump went down and the tractor was to small. It's all good. Almost, "Perfect". I do sound effects to!
Appreciate ya watching
Captains version of the Exxon Valdez. Lol God bless
What an absolutely miserable time, so sorry man. Glad things worked out.
No worries! Thanks for watching
thanks mike for the video
💪
Ha !!! Always an adventure with the Captain !!!! 😳😂
Somehow I knew you were going to forget that googly eye.
Lol
That's why you need 2 people out there with you one in the truck 1 in the Bobcat
Would definitely help. But a helper isn't in the budget lol
Always fun in field when things look good until not
😂😂
Enjoyed the video Mike
Thanks Jimmy!
