- Although I'm still working, there's lots of waffle in this update on the give away bike. The shop is getting changed about a lot and there's plenty going on to keep me busy.
SOMEBODY IS GOING TO WIN ASBO - That's right, somebody who supports the QuickBikes channel and the bikes I'm building is going to be the proud owner of a completely custom built Suzuki Bandit Cafe Racer once it's finished. I'm giving away ASBO to celebrate hitting the 10,000 subs mark to somebody who supports the channel.
To stand a chance of winning the bike once its finished, simply donate £10 to the channel using the PayPal link - www.paypal.com...
Where it says "What's this payment for?", enter "Supporting the channel". That way I know what the payment is for and I can make sure your name goes in my hat.
You can donate as much as you like and each £10 donation to the channel will get you another chance to win the bike as you're supporting us that much more.
If the winner is not in the UK, I can crate it up etc, but the shipping will be their responsibility. If you're in the UK, we'll be able to arrange something.
Please, please, please like and share this video as it will be setting the budget to finish the bike and hopefully raise some additional funds so I can include some spanky bits in the build. The bigger the budget, the better the bike you might end up with.
THIS IS NOT A RAFFLE...
You won't get a ticket or a sticker in the post, but I'll publish a list of names regularly, so you know you you've been entered. Somebody who has chipped in will be randomly picked once the bike is finished and as a thank you for supporting us will be the proud new owner of ASBO.
The very BEST of luck to you if you chose to join in and help support the channel 😁👍

Just stop waffling and get on with it 🤣🤣🤣
Kidding of course, logic makes sense!
Hehehe 😁👍
Just viewed the making of the Eng. Wheel and seat shaping on previous project. Did you ever get to use the 'rubber band' for the top wheel? I couldn't seem to find that part.
I did matey, but only to see what it did. The hump needed to curve in both directions, so no real need to use it in the end... 👍
Doesn't the MSVA manual just say that there must be space for a number plate? After all, the MSVA process can be used for bikes that have not yet been registered, and, therefore, do not have a registration mark. All you need to do is provide a place where the plate can go and a lamp to illuminate it.
Bits of the manual are quite vague really... I think a lot of it will come down to the mood the tester is in on the day matey as well 🤔
make a tally of what and count when used, sometimes its not obvious, sometimes what you think isnt whats used most
I can get to everything now which I couldn't before... Just rid of all the junk has made a massive difference to space 😁👍
Just bought a entire but put reference as suzuki bandit if that ok
That's fine matey, and the BEST of luck to you 😁👍
Can you not just put some wadding around the removable baffle then slide it back in and see what the dB is. Would be easier then making one up if it's just for the test.
I'm giving that a go at some point just to see what it does and will also try it out on the Dyno just out of curiosity... It should help, but not convinced it'll get down to 99db 🤔
Great new intro.. Bring on the waffle 😂
At least people will get the host for videos where there's more chat than work going on 😁
Loving the new intro matey
If there's a lot of waffle, I'm including that bit, just so folks don't moan about it any more 😅🤣😂
Quickly, is the caddy a lwb or swb
I would love to see if you can get the bike in as I keep hearing different answers, and I kinda like them 👍🏻👍🏻
I'm gonna have a go, else I need to get a car and a bike trailer... 🤣😅😂
it'll depend on the bike,
load length is 1797mm, width is 1614mm, that gives a diagonal of ~ 8ft,
if the wheel arches are boxed, it's a bit less, at 2.1m
the bandit is 81inches long.
So he'll have about 5cm to spare.
bike is 1.2m high, load space in the caddy is 1.4m high, so good luck rolling it in.
Yo!
Wasssssaaaaaappp 😁
❤
😁
👍
😁
You can't beat having a tidy workshop, a place for everything, it helps no end...
Love the disclaimer at the start😁
Best wishes from Turkey 👍
All the best matey and thanks for watching 😁👍
Had a RS1600i traded for a BMW 323i.. One of the biggest mistakes i ever made.
The Workshop is looking much better. Well the area that you have sorted. 😀
You should see it now matey.... ALL day chucking out rubbish and sorting stuff out 😁👍
