- I want to start work on making the seat hump, but i need to make sure more space for a seat first... Minor changes needed me thinks!
SOMEBODY IS GOING TO WIN ASBO - That's right, somebody who supports the QuickBikes channel and the bikes I'm building is going to be the proud owner of a completely custom built Suzuki Bandit Cafe Racer once it's finished. If the winner is not in the UK, I can crate it up etc, but the shipping will be their responsibility. If you're in the UK, we'll be able to arrange something.
Please, please, please like and share this video as it will be setting the budget to finish the bike and hopefully raise some additional funds so I can include some spanky bits in the build. The bigger the budget, the better the bike you might end up with.

You only take the Motorcycle in once , [ If it passes first time of course ] , the Brackets for the Number Plate can easily be altered after the Test . Not that I condone any such actions . The stand off Number Plate could be made to look quite trick .
I reckon it could look quite good if done right... Gonna have to mock it up for a look see 😁👍

I've just put a dynojet stage 1 kit in it with 114 Dynojet mail jets. We're booked in for a Dyno run on the 8thnif you want to wait and see what it goes like 😁👍
Travel is “usually” calculated by shock “travel!” Obviously the length of swing arm, size of tyre etc makes a difference. IMO

What happened to actually getting work done on the bikes on this channel…..it’s getting more and more of him raving on….26 min video and literally doesn’t start doing anything until at least half way through! At least delboy actually does work!

Hi, when you did the gearbox on the zzr how bad was it to get the gears back into neutral. My starter clutch has just gone and I'm knackered without my bike.
That wasn't a problem matey at all. All the gears selected easily, it was just jumping out of 5th because the dogs on the 5th gear sprocket were badly worn.
what regards the wheel travel: just pop the spring off the shock and put it back in. then however much you can move the wheel are your travel limits.
I was going to ratchet it down and add a bit 🤣😂😅

Hey Quickie didn't realize how big the plates were getting over there, why not make it flip horizontal then you can use it as a picnic table when you stuck in one of those traffic jams you have, why two plate on a side mount , rear plate has to be visible at so many degrees at x number of meters ( sorry feet) to either side of the bike viewed from the rear, and this is only the start .
They're stupid BIG matey... I only expect the 9x7 plate to be a temporary thing 😂🤣
Hi looking good, what if you were to extend the seat platform a couple of inches " I am old " this would also give more room for the number plate .
It would matey, but that's quite a bit of work and I've done this now 😂🤣
Forgive me if im being a bit dim si. But the wheel travels more than the shock because its further from the center point of youre arc. Also be aware that because the wheel is on an arc from a fixed point the wheel will come forward it a tangent to that arc. It will barely be noticable.
It's not worth risking it on the MSVA test just because one person thinks it'll be ok and another person questions it...

Hey Quickie, I guess I missed it if you did mention it, but why not go with a smaller lighter battery vs that big lump of lead of a battery? Great work, keep it up, Cheers!
I'm still not sold on the idea of lithium batteries, so I'm sticking with the gel battery for now. Just a personal choice really 😁👍
Just make a temp one to get it through the test. Then whens it's legal, make it pretty with an alternative Mount to suit.

I'd guess the regs are based upon a generic all vehicles format, so 'PlateS' could be carried over from that for a truck or something that requires additional plates like Long or wide vehicle. Or maybe not...

To be fair if the plate was on the left side of the wheel and Mr Policeman was on the right, he wouldn’t be able to see it. That’s my theory anyway. Doesn’t alter the fact that a number plate there looks stoopid anyway.
