The episode included Peggy taking an implicit bias test online, after which she proudly announced that she scored "strongly prefers the company of black people", which meant she was not racist.
In the end, it emerged that Hank just hated not being able to fix his own gas line and resented repairmen in general.
Just FYI, though. Dogs are unabashedly sexist. Male dogs (in general) prefer women and vice versa. The fucking cisheteronormative bigots.
