I was once told by my Korean teacher that Korean grammar isn’t hard, it’s just a combination of very easy things. This is the perfect example. I never realized the whole abbreviation thing. That’s so smart.

it's similar with a lot of the "hard" languages I've found. there are some concepts that initially seem very odd or a higher amount of "different" things but there's usually some internal logic and with repeated immersive practice it starts to feel natural.

한국으로 가면 - if/when I go to korea

What I really love about you guys is that you explain things not only IN context, but around context as well. It's one thing to say, "this means this". It's another thing to say "in THIS context, it means this". But even further, you guys explain the evolution of the concepts and ideas which really, REALLY ingrain the concept/idea into my head. There is so much detail in small bits of Korean this really helps to make everything make sense.

Korean is the very first language that I learned completely from scratch through my own efforts, and I have Talk to Me in Korean to thank for that! Seriously, I'm teaching myself a bunch of different languages, but Talk to Me in Korean is in my opinion one of the best language learning resources out there. Interesting, high-quality, and informative, Talk to Me in Korean videos and books have helped me get to a level where I am almost able to watch a Korean show without subtitles. I'll keep watching and buying your books so that I can get to fluency! Many, many thanks!
