That's a lie Mickor. It just goes to show that you are not about common law. What you want the law to say is this, "Only people who don't like black people are racist. However, when I don't like white people it's for a just reason." That's where you go off the rails. Go back and listen to Martin again. He explains it really well. It's not the color of your skin but the content of your character. And yes, racism can be applied to anyone. If you kick and spit on midgets is this not racism against short people? It's harassment for sure, but the intent of the person harassing the midget is the same intent as someone who harasses a black person or white person because of their skin color. The intent is to demean, harm, ostracize, belittle, humiliate, and ruin the other person. The intent, whether against skin color, religion, or any other thing is racist. However, if the content of the persons heart being harassed is evil, then it's justifiable to not like them. If there's a rapist in my neighborhood, I have every right to run him off with rocks, kicks, punches, even spit if it will get him away from my house. This is what Martin Luther King was talking about, content of character, not color of skin.

About 3 days ago they released another article that went over the attack again and they included how he didn't give the police his phone and immediately after that sentence the rest of the article is about statistics of hate crimes involving minority groups, religious hate crimes, and homophobic hate crimes

Then I watched the video and saw the only thing the only thing I saw that might be controversial is her view on Jesse hoax, thinking its a crime. I think its more of a hoax, but I can understand why she would think its a crime. Its because the advent of social media, and social media creating this radicalized team mentality for both political parties. The liberal side seems to be the loudest right now, and they're polar opposites to what liberals were in the 60's where it was about being a hippy, peace and love, and now they're about hurting people, getting people fired from their jobs, shouting people down, shutting down the conversation before it starts, and giving each other platforms to spread their own ideology.
The current climate of politics is why I am not identifying as either group, you can't be liberal today without automatically being a hypocrite, in one hand you say that people deserve safe spaces, they deserve to not be ridiculed by people, that you should never be calling people names, trying to hurt them mentally, but there hasn't been a day since Trump was elected where liberal celebrities aren't making fun of the way he looks, or his hair, his hands, his skin color, or the way conservatives look, or that they're all inbred racists etc, American liberals seem to be allowed to selectively generalize people.
