I really didn’t edit 90% of the interview like I threatened, but some stories, even if they’re true and hilarious, are just better shared behind closed doors. Mike was just happy Rex didn’t get started on his drummer jokes. :)
The BMI Event Center was very accommodating in finding us a quiet building for this interview while the Immortal Fest was rocking the block. They had not planned on opening this room and warned us that it hadn’t been cleaned and set up for the bands. We do joke about the musty smell but that is on me for not arranging for this ahead of time. We appreciate the venue for bending over backwards to indulge our whims!
