Why is there so many negative comments here?? The guy fronted a band that was a staple of the LA Metal scene and still inspires and influences today! Is he the greatest vocalist ever? No probably not, is he a great song writer and a fantastic front man? Hell yes he is!...He doesn’t look 100 years old, he looks older than he does in the 30 yr old videos you saw him in. For life on the road in a bus, all the partying and everything else I think he looks pretty good. He’s not hear to talk quantum physics he’s talking about the history of his fuckin band! What do you expect??....People love to post negative things and shit on people they’ll never have half the success of. He’s still my boy and I still love Ratt.
Disagree, as a musician I can confidentiality say Warren is far more accomplished than Mick, Nikki could never play a bass unlike Juan, and Stephen had a great voice unlike Vince's little girl voice, Crues songs are very simplistic unlike Ratt. I say all this being a huge Crue fan, but Crue (Nikki) just had the right vision, they had the right image and press at the right time, and the stars aligned , but musically there's no comparison

This guy dated Marianne Gravatt (the hot chick on the cover of Invasion of your privacy) as far as I'm concerned the man is a living legend Ratt was always one of my favorites!
One of the more unique voices in rock sort of a piercing growl-fry high falsetto that has not been duplicated. Some say he is not great vocalist of staying in a sustained register. I think the closest singer with that similar sound was Kevin DuBrow. In the studio Beau used very meaty older mics to get every ounce of sound from Stephen's voice for the first 2 LPs, probably on many takes. Live performance wise with Stephen and I have heard many mixed reviews from fans.
He looks like Hell with a life of abusing his body and mind he has little left of both. If you think otherwise you're far from impartial and likely a fanboy or in the same condition he is.
My prayers are for him as a musician. He was into some good drugs when younger. Not sure what he is into now days. Hope he is taking better care of himself. He had a wonderful voice. Shame that he is fading. He needs to start taking care of himself better and remember that he is a musician, singer and that people look up to him.
I saw that lineup too in TN. I think it was Motley Crue Ratt and BonJovi. It was right at that time when BonJovi was still unknown. I rem they did a quick a cappella performance. I was impressed by them that night.....but I never did grow to like them afterwards. Ratt had a stage that was made up out of tiers of bleachers. R.Crosby had to really concentrate to not fall down as he walked down from the top.

He talks about introducing Robbin to the Valen Halen guys. Robbin didn’t join Ratt until 1981 and But VH was not playing Gazarri’s or the Whisky in 1981. They were playing arenas. Then he says “I must have met them (VH) before their first record” which was 1978. Here’s the actual timeline to clarify the first 4 minutes: 1. They moved to LA in 1980 2. Robbin joined the band in 1981 3. Warren joined in 1982 3. Stryper changed their name in 1983
Met this guy walking the hallway at Hard Rock in AC on 9/14/19 few hours before his show. Walked up to him and told him "fan for 35 years!" and went to fist bump him. He gave me no eye contact and barely raised his hand then just turned away and walked. I was speechless just standing there. Walking back past there 20min later there he is again lurking in front of an art gallery. I question myself if it was really him and approach him again and ask Steve Piercy? He nods and Again just turns like I wasn't there. Im not a groupie and could care less but how ****in rude. I felt horrible and now know he is so fake to the people that made him what he is today. What a POS I felt so deceived and really didn't want to see the show or hear RATT again.

If Pearcy was that offstandish and shy I'd say pray for the dude because you never know what someone else is going through. He could have just found out he has cancer. Or his wife.

Just seen Ratt with two members left and stephen sat in a chair shaking and coughing he looked bad and i understand about the bum knee and sitting down but if you have to sit to perform why not have the surgery on the knee because your going to have to recover and cant use the knee for atleast 8 weeks and then perform sitting while the knee heals instead of waisting healing time sitting for 6 months before surgery makes no sence.

I Saw Ratt about a year ago. It had to be THE Worst Show that I have ever seen. Stephen Pearcy was so wasted, he was slurring the songs. You could not even understand what he was singing. It was Embarrassing. It is very sad how he turned out

RATT after more than 30 years are still in my top 3 favorite bands. Pearcy may not have been the best singer live, but he does sound unique on record.
