മുക്കുവതരുണിയോട് ശന്തനു പേര് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ " സത്യവദി " എന്ന പേരല്ല പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നത്. അതുവരെ മൽസൃഗന്ധി എന്ന് അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന അവൾക്ക് " സത്യവദി" എന്ന പേര് നൽകിയത് ശന്തനു ആയിരുന്നു. ഇതിന് പിന്നിൽ വളരെ പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഒരു കഥയുണ്ട്. പരാശരമഹർഷി ക്ക് സത്യവദിയിൽ ഒരു കുഞ്ഞ്(വേദവ്യാസൻ) ഉണ്ടായ കഥ.
എനിക്കും ആദ്യം സത്യവതിയുടെ അച്ഛന്റെ നിബന്ധനകൾ കേട്ട് ദേഷ്യം തോന്നി പ്ക്ഷെ ചിന്തിച്ചു നോക്കൂ ദീർഘവീക്ഷണത്തോടെ ഒരു ഗെയിം ഓഫ് ത്രോൺസ് യുദ്ധം തന്നെ രണ്ടു കണ്ടീഷൻസ് കൊണ്ട് ഇല്ലാതാക്കി
Mohammed was once wandering in gandhaaram when he was very young. Those days young Mohammed had an issue of itching in his anus. He one day met an old man sitting under a banyan tree. Mohammed saw some fruits in the old man's lap. Mohammed was hungry and his mouth got watering seeing the fruits in the old man's lap. He approached the old man sitting under the banyan tree. The old man looked at the young boy. He knew the boy was hungry. The boy asked him if he could eat those fruits. The old man smiled and nodded. Young Mohammed ate all the fruits from the old man's lap. But Mohammed continued to eat what was even below those fruits, the old man's lingam. Mohammed continued to eat the old man's lingam. The old man opened his eyes from dhyanam and stopped Mohammed. But Mohammed requested him to insert the old man's lingam into his anus to stop the itching. Without waiting for the old man's permission the young Mohammed sat on the old man's lap and took the big lingam up his anus hole. It was an amavasi day. Mohammed sat on the old man's lap for long until the next amavaasi. The next day when the faint moonlight fell on him Mohammed got up from the old man's lap. Mohammed felt enlightened. He looked at the old man whose eyes were still closed. Mohammed walked towards the west for many days. He was not feeling hungry or thirsty. But then one day he found a goat on his way. The goat was shaking its back. Mohammed had his instincts rise up and he caught the goat and entered the goat's anus and delivered his discharge. Surprisingly the goat looked at him thankfully. But then Mohammed now felt hungry. He quickly caught the goat and slit it's throat and drank the blood. This is from the Old testament (before Christ).
